The Bar Method
 
Hi! A few years ago, I ordered the Bar Method's Designer Scupting and Fat Free DVDs. I never tried them out, but now I think I"m ready! I guess I was always a bit intimidated to try it out - thinking that I wasn't in shape enough...does anyone have any tips for me? Can a true beginner do it? Right now, my main form of exercise is walking anywhere from 2-4 miles 4x a week. Sometimes I do some squats and lunges, but not regularly

I'd love to hear any tips, success stories, etc. on your experiences with The Bar Method...DVD's or classes - thanks!!!

I say go for it. It would complement walking very nicely. I used to have that set but it was too slow for me. I got good results w barre but I did pure barre bc I needed the fast paced program.

Krissakris, Thanks for your comment; how often did you do pure barre? Did you go to classes or do DVD's?

I did pb classes every Saturday for five weeks and 1-2 physique 57 DVDs during the week. I then did a challenge at a studio which was 20 classes in 30 days so I was going 5xs a week. Classes are the best bc they can correct your form, but the more you do it the better you will get esp if you focus on form. I hope that helps :)

aww thanks! i'm somewhere in between both pics (hopefully closer to my after), but I keep it up to remind myself of what's possible when I stick with it.

Keep me posted on Bar Method..and def check out P57, it's a lot of fun! :)

I have the Bar Method and Physique 57 and agree they are both awesome! They can really reshape the lower body when done consistently.
