Morning!

Woke up and call DH to walk, he said no LOL, so I went out and walk for 30’, it was raining and I thought to go back to bed, but I have a second thought! I’m up and ready, let’s walk, so I did it at the cover area around my building.
07/09: 1.13 miles, my GPS didn’t work but it might be the same as yesterday due the time.

Well done shunsweets!

I did my 2.1 km short round this morning, walking and jogging, with a speed of 6 km/h which is nice for me. Yesterday I took a day off, the day before yesterday, I walked without any jogging 3 km, my longer round.

Good job on the weight training Lynn!

+3 for me today. DH has to have another cardiac cath tomorrow. I'm nervous so my walk was fast and frantic. Tomorrow will be all day at the hospital again.

I really hope your DH has a smooth time of it, shun.

I still haven't been able to walk again. My groin pain seems to have migrated a couple of weeks ago to deep inside my left buttock and hip. The groin issue may still be present but I haven't walked in 3 weeks now so I am not sure. Hopefully I can start walking again this weekend. I am going to try to anyway since not being able to walk has really demotivated me on my WOE as well. :\

Today I did my morning round, 3 km, that's 1.8 miles, walked and jogged. Had a quiet day yesterday and noticed that today, I could walk and jog much better. So it's true that taking breaks is as important as keeping the routine. I'm very happy with my increasing fitness though it may sound ridiculous to others.

Yesterday morning:
Walked 3.1 km on the beach
Walked 3 km, my usual morning walk (my jogging intervals keep getting longer but still I walk most of the time)

Today:
Walked 7.23 km with my husband from our house to a beautiful cave with stalagtites and stalagmites. It was not an easy path and the sun shone directly on our heads. But it was a beautiful walk and I'm happy I did it.

So altogether in the last two days, I walked 13.2 km, that's 8.2 miles.

Wow, that's really a lot for a couch potato like me (and in km it sounds soo much more impressive! :-D )

Great job everybody! DH made it through yet another heart procedure and is doing well.

I took a fast 3 mile walk before heading to work and then back to the hospital.

Today I did my morning round, 3 km, that's 1.8 miles. Took me 30 minutes, I took a break when I saw a beautiful young deer and later when I met a neighbor - a professional trainer who offered to give me a free lesson how to use my arms, how to breathe etc. I accepted although I'm quite content with my own breathing rhythm. In through my nose, out through my mouth, counting to three for each.

I could jog for 11 minutes today but that's not faster than walking for me.

+3 for me today. And DH is coming home from the hospital! I couldn't be any happier - life is good.

Great job to all the walkers! Isn't it wonderful how a daily walk adds to our life, reduces stress, and makes us healthier and is actually enjoyable!
