new program Focus T25?

Anyone heard of this? its coming out on monday. 25 minutes no rest 5 days a week and it looks pretty intense. im about 10 pounds from my goal weight (so hard to loose the last bit) and really want to change my body composition. My problem is that with beachbody programs like this, if you dont follow their nutrition guide you dont get the results you want. I dont know what the guide looks like for this program but its not going to be low carb. Im looking to loose some more weight and gain some muscle, so, as someone who wants to get back into exercising, do you guys recommend staying low carb during this program or changing to their nutrition plan?

I ordered it and I can wait to try it. I've done tons of Bbody programs and never followed their diet plan but still got great results. My after avi pic is post insanity and other things Bbody and low carb.

Dang girl! I was always worried about working out and eating low carb but your after pic is amazing im just going to go for it! Ive been trying to research what type of meals the nutrition plan has and I think there a few lower carb ones. I saw turkey slices rolled up with red pepper and avocado for a snack so we will see what its all about when it gets here!

ss1 don't be suprised about their eating plan. If you are following a good eating plan already just stick to it. (atkins, paleo, south beach etc)
I love beach body workouts. I happen to have 3 of them at the moment and a ton of turbo jam dvds. They always seem to plug their shakes, and tell ppl to eat whole grains and things....
You do not need to eat more carbs for the workouts..

Thank you ladies so much! Im going to do just that!I did find a few lower carbs recipes in t25 which ill just add in for some variety and stick to the way ive been eating. The book gives you a certain amount of calories to eat, either 1600 or 1200 depending on your answers to a quiz and breaks down their recipes to carb heavy and protein heavy. unfortunately theres only a few recipes in there but now I have a few new things to try!

I have done BB programs and stayed on lc and had great success. Love the BB workouts, but never really got interested in their diets. LC seems to be the only thing that works for me so I stick to it. Good Luck!!

hey, i'm not sure if you're on fbook, but there are a lot of coaches running Challenge groups that are doing this group. They're helpful b/c there are tons of ppl doing the program, and hopefully it'll keep you on track for the next few weeks. I'm not sure if that's your kind of thing, i'm just putting it out there

no worries, i'm not a coach either, lol.

Thank you Krissakris! I have a beach body coach but shes not doing a challenge. I would be interested in doing a challenge but does the person running this challenge have to be my coach? or do I have to be a coach? Thanks for all your input btw!

I'm a beachbody coach. Anybody can run a challenge, you don't have to be a coach, and you certainly don't have the person who runs the challenge as your coach, although that is customary.

The truth is, it's just a way of maintaining accountability. For my group, I ask for schedules in the beginning of the month and then I expect people to post workouts (even rest days) every day. If someone skips for two days, they are getting messages from me and other members of the group. So it's really hard to slack off.
