Exercising while pregnant, suggestions and tips wanted.
So I walk nearly every day. It's really more of a stroll, but I do walk over a mile during this time. I am 14 weeks pregnant and have been told I can do light exercise because I'm high risk. Walking is fine and I want to get into Yoga for pregnant women. I've never done yoga and don't want to take a class but I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of a good workout DVD specifically for pregnancy so I can start doing some research. Maybe some light resistance training, too. I'm trying to balance cost and quality. Also, any other suggestions would be helpful too, never know what might help, so any suggestions on reading material, dvd's or both is very welcome.
You can go to youtube and do a search for pregnancy yoga and several pop up.. You can find more exercise videos for pregnancy by doing a search for pregnancy exercise.. Here are a few videos to show you what you can find..
