Heather, I can relate. We work out in our firm's boardroom but when it isn't available, we walk around the lake just outside our office. 5:30 heat and humidity in Florida is tough! Whew.

1 mile swim today.... had to get out quickly at 1PM as 26 campers headed for the pool.... I was pretty quick about getting out... I will try again tomorrow....

My son had to have emergency surgery yesterday for an intestinal blockage - very close call but he is going to be OK.

Plus 3 this morning indoors to relieve stress before visiting hours at the hospital started.

I want to join you in the walking thread. I am so motivated by the high miles. i used to run and almost did a half marathon, but alas I piled on some pounds. I have been walking for around 20 minutes per day and trying to motivate myself some more. I look forward to getting to know each of you

Definitely, I was so motivated I went on a walk right away. Total probably around a mile. I think I walk a 20 minute mile, but not for sure. I walked 24 minutes just a moment ago and picked up a fit n fruitful smoothie from Jamba juice with a shot of energy. i feel so much more energy right now. I almost felt like taking to a light job. Thursday- 1 mile lap swimming
Friday- 3 miles on the boardwalk at the beach.

I will be going away for 10 days, but will get to the local Library and check in..

Rest day today will be at work, then the hospital all day. Definitely need the rest after 2 nights with zero sleep but slept last night and today should be a better day.
