Well, I petered out in April due to joint issues. Had to give my bod a rest to recover.
My May Goal is 1 mile for 30 days as I also do other exercises, but would like to walk in mornings before breakfast. I'm doing Leslie's 1 Mile walk on the Internet. Today: 1/30 |

Like you, I think I over did it a bit in April, going from nothing to 2 miles 3x/week. I had to take a break too. |

2.5 miles! I am slowly increasing my distance and my pace. It is pretty tiring and my cheek bone areas are getting really, really red towards the end of the walk. A little worrisome but I think it is just the unusual exertion.

4.5 today.
Oh, and I ended up with 56 miles for April, so not quite as bad as I'd feared. If I've counted right, I'm at 250 for the year so far. But that sounds better than I thought, so I'm going to go back over my records and double check my math. Last edited by Gretalyn; 05-03-2013 at 07:33 AM.. |

Plus three inside. It snowed here in Arkansas last night.
I did a 3 days egg fast (eggs only) and I lost 4.8lbs. I was having some tummy trouble and that has cleared, I feel better, my skin is clearer, my stomach flatter and I am not at all hungry throughout the day. I averaged 10 eggs a day. |

How did you prepare them? Did you get really sick of them? I'm impressed with the tummy and skin troubles clearing up. Sounds awesome! |

I love eggs and didnt get sick of them. I cooked them fried, scrambled, boiled. Yesterday I made them scrambled and add a little mayo for an egg salad. I had 2 fried eggs for breakfast today. Lol.

Well that's great, Heather, that you didn't get sick of them. I really like eggs, and eat them for breakfast often. I also like egg salad and crustless quiche. People always act so shocked and sad for my sake when they find out I'm allergic to wheat. I don't care - I can still have eggs and dairy and I'd rather have those than bread and pasta any day!

There you are Greta! Was missing you.
![]() Heather - wow the egg fast sounds like it worked great for you. I have done meat and egg for 3 days to get rid of cravings a couple of times. Wish I would get the flat belly! I've had a pot belly since I was a little girl even though I have never been overweight. I always say I look like a spider with long skinny arms and legs and a little round body!![]() Keptewe - wow walking in the snow in May. That's dedication. ![]() Gorgeous day again here and I did 9 miles in two walks. Working the next 5 in a row so I'm thrilled my days off fell on these beautiful days.
