I had the same issue with my left groin area and leg that sent me back to the chiropractor a few weeks ago. He pressed on muscle a little from the middle to a bit towards the right under the breast. Talk about pain - and he kept pressing extremely hard to release the muscle which was sore and I kept yowling. Point is, I think it has to do with tight muscles causing the problem.

I'm much better now, but still take 600mg Ibuprofen if it's too bothersome and begins to hurt. Doctors usually prescribe 800mg for inflammation three times a day.

How about warm-ups and stretches before walking? I would suggest watching the YouTube video "Exercise TV/Start walking at home 1 mile with Leslie Sansone" because she does warm-ups and after walking stretches. I'm finally doing really good right now using her video and can keep up the pace with her, but it has taken me time because I rested the bod. If one hurries too much the condition just comes back which I've done. This may not apply to you as we're all different, but thought I'd relay what happened to me.

BTW, I noted in another post of yours in another Thread, the other exercise you did that hurt your joints. That's the one that caused all my issues after my back was adjusted and I had been doing fine.

Good luck and I certainly sympathize.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your post!!
As much as I am very sorry you have suffered similarly to me, I am glad that you have been able to give me this advice from your experience. I did another +2 today and, towards the end, the pain was almost debilitating. It is even extremely painful to get off my couch right now. I just took some Ibuprofen as you suggested and hopefully that will help. It is exasperating since I am really on a roll with not missing a day so far for walking.

I am going to start doing the warmup you suggested by Leslie Sansone. I am sure it will be beneficial regardless and frankly I know I should be warming up anyway considering the years of sedentary lifestyle I have just broken away from. Zero exercise to walking every day, light weights a couple of times a week and then trying Callanetics was too much too soon without warming up before each.

Again, Thank You so very much for taking the time to make this post! <3

No official mileage to log today. We are at silver dollar city. So I will do lots of walking and pushing strollers and carrying heavy bags

If you have a pedometeer on, doesn't that count? You probably won't get too many cardio steps, but 'steps' are steps! LOL
