So 3 hours of yard work and I am exhausted. 10 years since I have used a weed whacker and trimmers so I am feeling it now. I don't know if I will be able to walk today which makes me feel bad. I guess I could use the yard work as a walk value? lol

I use my fitbit and count all my steps! Yard work seems to be a significant portion of them on the weekends.

I had no idea what a Fitbit was until I just looked it up. It looks interesting but is it very intrusive to keep it on you all of the time? Do you find it really motivates you? I may have to take a look around for one.

I love my Fitbit! I just clip it on my bra strap and forget about it.
Friday I did 1.5. Yesterday I did 3.5 miles walking around and exploring at the park with my son. The best kind of miles are the ones you are not super aware of! :-) today I did 1 mile. The exploring at the park was climbing and doing trails...Not flat walking by any means. =-O

Keep up the good work everyone!

I have the One.
I don't use the sleep thing, it is pretty useless, so I'd buy a Zip if I was going to replace it.

I've gotten a little behind in my reporting....kind of a crazy weekend, sorry . Anyway....no walk on Saturday because we visited friends and it was nasty weather. Sunday I got 3.5 miles outside and 1 inside. Today was a "Lake Fayetteville Day" which equals a little over 5 miles.

May goal: 100
To date: 21.5

I have the Classic....when they first came out and could only be purchased online through fitbit. Now they can be purchased in many retailers around town. Best Buy, Dicks Sporting Goods etc. I too would buy the Zip now, or when mine finally stops working. I like that the newer models can sync with smartphone, instead on only the docking station connected to my computer. There are some days that I don't go on my laptop, so it doesn't sync until I do.

4.75 yesterday. My parents and brother are visiting us right now, so my brother joined us for the hike. It was nice.

After that, though, I had one of my "attacks" so I went to bed early last night and slept late this morning! I hope that I can still motivate myself to walk again today even though I'm not feeling all that great.

Another 1.5 yesterday. So far my body is doing okay with it. I was a little sore after the 3.5 explore/hike at the park over the weekend, but nothing too terrible.
