Wow everyone is doing great!

Greta - sure hope you feel better soon. Headaches are so awful.

Absolutely gorgeous day for walking today. I did two walks for a total of 8 miles.

51 miles for the month of April... my goal was 50 miles, since I do alot of different exercises...

I am 6.78 for today. I only count whole miles, so I am considering going around the yard to get to 7 miles. I did exercise tv this morning, then I worked in the snack bar for 3 hours and then I took a nice walk with a friend.

Rest day for me today. Off work and spent the day caring for a dear neighbor who is dying of lung cancer - so sad. Really makes me thankful for having enough health to walk and enjoy my life.

I have to start thinking about a goal for May. My goal for April was to beat my March miles, which I did today. Maybe I can try to add 5% more miles...?

Shunsweets, so sorry to hear about your neighbor. I'm sure that s/he is so grateful to have your help and your compassion.

Everyone seems to be doing such a great job this month. I feel like such a slacker! I had a really good day yesterday, but I took the opportunity to do some volunteer work at church, and to start repainting my bedroom. So I didn't walk. But I've been wanting to repaint by bedroom for weeks and just haven't had the time on days that I felt good. So I'm still counting it as an accomplishment. I'll just log it under "emotional health" rather than physical health.

Greta - good job on the painting. I have several painting projects that badly need doing but I'm a bit afraid to get up on the stepstool to do them. May have to give in to old age and get a painter in but that tics me off as I have always done all the painting in all of our houses. This house has cathedral ceilings which makes it extra tough. And thanks for your compassion toward my neighbor. It is very, very sad.

+3 for me today indoors. Pouring rain here.

Well I'm just painting a small bedroom. A big room with cathedral ceilings - wow, that's a whole different story! I don't deal well with ladders and scaffolding and things like that. I'd have to either hire it out or make hubby do it.

April is ending... look for the new May thread... Hope you will all join us again.. we had over 200 replies in April and alot of people were coming in to look at our progress...the more the merrier...

I find it more rewarding to write everything down so you can see what you have done...

Not even one whole mile today.

The ironic thing is I am more tired than ever. I am zapped. No energy. Sitting still in a conference room is more tiring than walking 4 miles!
