That plantar faciitis is no joke and it hurts like no tomorrow. I have finally just got mine to calm down. Bought new sneakers and wear them almost always when leaving the house. Also stopped walking.

I need to get moving again now that my feet feel better. I guess I will start with a mile a day.

Working outside is a workout in itself. I clean my church for 4 hrs. straight on Fridays and after by body is sore so I know how you feel.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Got in 1 mile this morning on my treadmill. Have a nice Thursday everyone.
Thanks Maggie!
At one point last year it was so bad that I couldn't even sleep. I have had shin splints etc, but nothing compared to this PF. The new sneakers were a huge help and I have occasionally walked more. Lack of motivation is my problem now!
I got it out of the way this morning and did 1.5 on the treadmill. Go Me!
Keptewe- glad the shoes are working out!
Wickedstitch - good you are getting back at it. Plantar F - ouch!
MagieDen - you are doing great!
Heather - I hear you on the yard work. I raked for half an hour last week and my arms and shoulders hurt for two days!
Greta - great on the four miles!
Hi everybody!
Plus 5 for me today. Hope for more if it ever stops pouring rain.
My sister was visiting so I needed to take advantage of her help. I'm a single mom of four girls so its hard to get things done on my own sometimes. We organized and re-filled with mulch 2 huge flower beds. These are edged with big decorative rocks and they had gotten pushed and moved and all out of place. I have a large, split level deck and we moved everything off of the top portion and waterproofed it. We pulled 5 small dead trees out with the help of a man and his truck. We raked and pulled weeds. At the bottom of the stairs from the deck I have a rock walkway where the weeds had taken over and you couldn't even see the rocks. We moved all of the rocks out, raked, leveled and covered the ground with plastic, put the huge rocks back in and filled in the gaps with small gravel size rocks. My sister left yesterday so the kids and I will have to finish the deck by ourselves but its a smaller portion. I wish I had one of those sprayer things but I don't so we do it on our hands and knees by hand. So, good exercise. Lol
Today I walked 3 miles with Leslie.
1.5 miles this morning outside with the hubster. I was "walking in the rain with the one I ." In case you didn't know it, it's a lyric from a Neil Sedaka song. I am telling my age here.
Have a good day of walking and a great weekend fellow walkers!
I am sure the boredom comes with the lack of motivation. However this week with a nice loss, that oughta get me motivated and walking more.
I mentioned I was going to up it to 2 miles/day. I did it today! Feels good!
