February walking thread

How many miles can youwalk in the month of February?? Remember it is a short month.

Come and join us on a daily basis and get your sneakers on, and start walking..

We are a friendly bunch, and we would love it if you joined us...

Thanks for the new thread Lynn. I'll get started early tomorrow morning! So glad I have my walking friends to keep me motivated. And when my neighbors think I'm crazy out walking in all kinds of weather I tell them I'm in a walking challenge and it becomes socially acceptable to be "that nice old lady who walks all the time" lol. Works for me!

Haven't walked yet today, but I wanted to post anyway to get subscribed to the new thread. Even though the month is a bit shorter, I'm going to keep my goal at 75 miles.

+8 in two walks on my day off. So windy my hair kept blowing in my mouth and eyes no matter how firmly I tucked it in. Cold and glorious out there though.

I re-injured my knee a couple of weeks ago, so I'll try again this month. I need to remember my knee brace. I'm aiming for 50 miles. 2 miles so far.

5 mile hike today, but it wasn't our usual route, so it was fun and different. Started at 6400 ft elevation and turned back when we reached 7600. Wish I had taken my camera!

+5 today. Pouring rain here. We will be just on the edge of the blizzard and are supposed to only get around 3 inches of snow tonight. I sure hope they are right and I feel sorry for all the folks further north in New England.
