Just starting--any other newbies?

I have just recently started a work-out program(Jan 21st). Right now I have been doing the Denise Austin dvd's(lame I know lol), I ordered Slim In 6 and as soon as it arrives (by the 31st) I will be starting that. My family and I have a 90day biggest loser type challenge going on. My real goal is to tone up and maybe lose about 10lbs.
Is anyone else just starting an exercise routine? Im not near as advanced as some others on here and I have a bum knee right now which is why P90x is just sitting on the shelf..well that and Im just too out of shape to start with that...there I said it

Hi, I have not been exercising in ages and I'm the heaviest I've been without being pregnant. I hula hooped for 30 minutes yesterday and consider it a victory. I have water on my knees and arthritis pain sometimes. I have Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred sitting on my shelf for the same reasons.

Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
I just started back to the gym a few weeks ago. This is week 3 (I think). I'm lifting mostly, but some cardio too. My goal is 3X a week, and I've hit that mark each week. Today was my 2nd workout this week, weights total. So, I'll jog this afternoon w. dd and then I'm meeting a friend tomorrow at the gym again. Sat. we're planning a trail ride (bikes) through the mountains, which will be a fun way to exercise. So, I'm off to a good start .
