Callanetics ballet bar??

I really would like to get or make a portable type bar but I have no idea what to get. I saw some plans to make one out of pvc pipe but that would not be able to support body weight. Do any of yall use one?

I would look into a hand railing type set up. It will be much stronger. Check Home Depot or Menards.

I would not have a place to put it with the way my house is arranged.

I bought a used fluidity bar that was for sale locally on ebay. It's amazing. If you can find one on craigslist or ebay, I highly recommend it for Callanetics workouts. It has the built in mat, which makes things so much more comfortable. I find it so convenient to have everything you need built into one piece of equipment. You can even use the back portion underneath the barre (the part that holds up the mat) for the inner thigh squeeze. It's the perfect width!

I suggest Fluidity also. Don't do the pvc because it is too light . basically to hold on to or touch really.

I have a vita vibe portable of metal and that folds down and is adjustable and around $125. But I got it for 90 or so.

The fluidity is the next best thing to wall mount.
