Callanetics question
I've recently started doing Callanetics and really love it! Several of the moves are what I would consider stretches (with little pulses) - waist bends, hamstring stretches etc. Do these actually have toning benefits?

Thanks, yeah, I've seen the before and afters. I was just wondering specifically about stretching exercises versus the more resistance type, which obviously have toning benefits. I just never thought you could tone by stretching a muscle, I thought you needed resistance of some sort. I ask becauce I do the AM/PM Callanetics and the PM workout is mostly stretches and wondered if I was toning or just stretching the muscles.

sticking a limb out and stretchng it then having a small controlled pulse (half inch to inch movement) and pulsing it like that for 100 counts, DEFFINATLY TONES..
Do it once and you will feel it! |
