Anything new for the Wii/Balance Board?
Hi all,
It's been a while since I've exercised consistently. I was, in the past, using Wii EA Active. I enjoyed the program, and had some good results. However, I'm wondering if there might be something new/better that's come out in my long-term absence from regular exercise. Anyone have something they enjoy with the Wii? |

Glad it helped! I'm going to hop back on my Wii this week.
I do like that I can fit it in "whenever." I'm not a gym person. |

I may have to start using mine again - i'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Anyone have a good low-impact recommendation?

I'm back on the Wii and loving it. Doing basic wii fit stuff, mainly the yoga mixed with strength training. My son likes to do the play ones. I keep looking at other wii discs to consider, but I'm really happy with this right now.

I have Wii Fit, and also this game called Walk It Out which is pretty neat imo... I haven't used either one in ages, but Walk It Out kept things interesting for me walking during rainy days/in the winter when I did use it. Basically you create an avatar for yourself and you get to walk around your room (or in place) in order to make your avatar walk through this town. Much more interesting than just walking in place in Wii Fit imo, because you actually can have your avatar walk to the beach, or through residential areas, etc. The cool thing is too, when you walk in time to the beat of the music that's playing you earn these little points... and you can use the points to build things in the town from the ground up, and to also buy new music tracks and such. It kept me busy while walking, and I almost never got bored of it. There are tracks with different tempos too, which is great for interval training too
