Good to see all the regulars posting.
I did my 3rd Aerobic/toning class of the week today. My London gym has changed its class schedule, so I am missing my Zumba, but I know this is good for me as it forces me to use free weights. |

Welcome back, Lori .... good job - easy does it, though. This morning, had to cut short my workout (early report to the office) - so, I did 20 mins. of Shaun T's 35 min. workout - Disco Groove.

Yes, my pace right now is very slow. The last thing I want is an injury. But I feel great and actually have to force myself to take it slow right now. Only my walking days I only walk at a very moderate pace. Only my run interval days I dropped back down to week 2 of C25K. I had finished Week 6 Day one when I became sick. So I am hoping I can just move on week by week now and finish my nine weeks about the end of April! Much nicer weather to run a 5K in!

Hey, TM Buddies!!! I forgot to post yesterday's workout .... I decided to do Shaun T's Disco Groove (35 mins) again yesterday since on Monday, I didn't complete it.
This morning, Shaun T's 10 mins Hard Core Abs and 32:01 mins, 2.24 miles, 406 cals on the TM. Great workouts, TM Buddies - keep up the good work!!! The gang's all here - I get so inspired and motivated when that happens!!! Have a great day!!! |

TM Buddies, we're on the move! Great job, everybody!
Thursday, 3/7 - Rest day Friday, 3/8 - short routine .... Shaun T's Hard Core Abs workout (10 mins) - had to prepare to leave early for work due to snow storm hitting New York area - guess what, my boss could not make it in ... I waited 30 mins for a bus .... it was a little bit stressful.... but I made it through ... Very busy weekend planned ... preparation Saturday for Sunday brunch at my home after religious services; then, a dinner later that afternoon at a friend's home .... Lots of Ebay work to do .... when will I have time to fill those orders with my crazy weekend .... ![]()

Managing to get a few orders done .... in between all the preparation for Sunday's brunch, etc.
This morning, I worked out with 25 mins of Shaun T's Party Express. We'll see what tomorrow brings.... hope that you all are having a great weekend! |

My recumbent bike is fabulous!! It's smooth, quiet and comfortable! I'm starting slow...10 minutes at a time but a couple of times a day. It feels so good to be moving again!
My DS bought a used elliptical last fall and it's been in the garage till we could figure out where to put it. We're going to make a space in the guest bedroom (we don't plan on any visitors till summer) so we can use it in there. DS is building a house and will be moving later in the summer so he'll be taking it with him but we may as well use it while it's here. I'm going to start in with upper body exercises tomorrow...keeping that simple for now, too. I'm so anxious to get back to my former intense workouts but I know it will take some time....I will get there!

Linda, good to have you back ... Kissa, I truly know the feeling - had to push myself this morning, though. Had too much food and sweets yesterday - a brunch and a dinner party - so, I couldn't AFFORD to skip movin'! ![]() Lori, we all need time off at some point .... see you at the TM (smile)! As far as Shaun T goes - come on in, the "water's" fine ... I played his Hip Hop Abs dvd for the ladies who were at my Brunch yesterday (they started talking about good work out videos and one of my friends just received her Hip Hop Abs dvd). What a weekend!!! Because of my schedule, I could not work out yesterday. This morning, I had to prepare the Ebay orders I put together for shipment. So, that took up most of my work out time - I simply did 10 mins. of Shaun T's Hard Core Abs routine which is a serious work out in itself. Have a great day, everybody! Yesterday I tried the elliptical and did 5 minutes...not bad for the first time back on one in a few years! My legs are sore but it's good to feel the exercise soreness instead of the other pain/weakness I've been having!
I decided to do 5 minutes twice a day on the elliptical for now and 10 minutes twice a day on the bike...that will give me a half hour....I added in a little upper body stuff and soon I'll be back to where I want to be! It's good to have something to post about here other than just saying I still can't exercise! |
