Kissa, I totally understand.... I'm getting used to being a little lazy since I've been unemployed but yet I've been on the move by getting out the house daily.

This morning, I walked 60:09 mins, 4.01 miles, 655 cals. My back seems to be hanging in there ... I hope that it continues on doing so.

Glad to know that you've been working the Zumba! Keep up the good work.

Karai --- Hi, TM Buddies ... forgive me ... I have not been posting ... did not to anything until last week Sunday. On Thursday, I went to the hospital to visit my brother who was in hospice. He passed away early a.m. Monday (12:16 a.m.). I am glad that I got a chance to see him, and our nephew from Florida who flew in on a whim on Thursday to visit his uncle ....

Here's my stats:

Sunday, 7/21 - 47:02 mins, 3.13 miles, 512 cals.
Monday, 7/22 - rest day
Tuesday, 7/23 - rest day
Weds, 7/24 - 46 mins, 3.06 miles, 501 cals.

Between family issues and searching for employment, among other things, I am mentally exhausted, but working out really is refreshing. Keep up the good work, TM Buddies ... will check back soon ...

I'm still alive but not getting much exercise....more physical problems to deal with....and so busy helping with Mom....she is about the same as she's been for the last several months....she is being released from hospice care because she is not meeting their guidelines for end of life care....glad that she's so "healthy" despite the late stage dementia but sad that this is what her life has become.

I'm going to try to get back to workouts (well, simple exercises for now because I've lost all the strength and cardio ability I had before) this week, I hope.

We've had a busy summer, went to Disney World with our kids, grandkids and some others....had a great time! Now it's time to get back to regaining my fitness and health!

Ladylove, thanks for your condolences, love and big hug --- I need that .... my brother's funeral was yesterday. I've been in a fog for the past week... yes, I've worked out a few times ... have not been much on posting it but I've worked out - anywhere from 45 mins to 1 hour or so... once I locate my notes, I will put them on the board.

Glad to see the energy building up here on the boards .... keep up the good work. Will check in soon.... have a lovely day.

Thanks Kissa for your condolences ..... TM Buddies ... I've been in an ultimate slump .... I walked:
Sunday, 7/28 - 70:01 mins, 4.66 miles, 763 cals (4.0 mph) ... then
Tuesday, 8/6 - 65:01 mins, 4.21 miles, 428 cals (3.9 mph)

what a difference in just 0.1 mph ..... almost 340 cals .... sad, but true ...

Anyway, I hope all of you are doing fine .... I'm tossed up with looking for contractors to fix the roof and other things around our home .... I've gotten two companies so far and am looking for one more in order to make an informed decision based on estimates. The insurance company has given us a set amount and we have to stay within that boundary. I'm mentally exhausted .....

I've got to get revved up again .... with you all motivating me, I know I will .... great job, everyone ... keep up the good work - I will be back soon!

Thanks, Kissa .... worked out Friday, 8/9 - 33:04 mins, 2.20 miles, 360 cals.

More sad news, my beloved friend who was like a sister, then became my "aunt" through my marriage to her nephew, has passed away. She was my matron of honor in our wedding .... She went into the hospital on Wednesday, I didn't know this, as she did not want me to worry needlessly about her ..... Saturday, my hubby received the call that she was in the hospital and it did not look good for her .... he went to the hospital - I didn't because she didn't want me to see her in the hospital like that (I honored her wishes) - she died Sunday morning.

I have mixed emotions about my decision to honor her wishes, but her husband stated that she loved me so much .... it hurts so much ....

Sunday afternoon, I went to an urgent care doctor about my right foot ...I twisted my ankle on some ice underneath snow the day after Hurricane Sandy's wrath in October of last year .... I thought that it was okay until early spring when it showed signs of swelling ..... I never really paid attention to it until Saturday .... it was unusually swollen .... but no pain. Now, I'm wearing an Ace Bandage for support .....

The doctor who saw me called late last night and said that the x-ray showed a possible fracture of the "distal fibular tip" .... (I googled the phrase - it means a broken bone located above/next to the ankle) - I have an appointment set to follow up with my family doctor and then, see an orthopedic doctor ....

Anyway, I was told not to "jump" or do any strenuous activities with my foot ... but I can still walk on the TM - not run .... no fast-walking ....

This, too, shall pass. I am going to lie down - gather my thoughts together .... then, walk on the TM some time today ....

Walked today - 8/13/13 - 60:16 mins, 3.56 miles, 370 cals @ 3.5 mph. Slowing it down for obvious reasons .... have a good day, TM Buddies.
