Dealing with Calluses

To my dismay, I am starting to develop calluses on my hands since I started circuit training
Is wearing gloves the only way to deal with this? I looked at gloves today and call me cheap but I didn't want to spend the 20 bucks for the gloves. I will if I must though. In the mean time, are there any natural remedies I can do to get rid of the calluses?

My aunt had huge calluses on her feet, I mean she had holes, mountains, you name it, and stuff...ew...One day I saw her feet and they were smooth... I asked her how she did it and she said wax. she bought a wax machine and big block of wax...melts slowly, she dips her feet in...puts plastic wrap around the waxed feet and leaves it alone for 15 min. or so. then moisturize after you take off the wax....walla.

Oh yeah...and you can use it on your hands too...her hands are super soft.

super cheap in a beauty supply store or walmart

Hi there!

I'm a heavy lifter, so the darn barbell always tears my hands up too. I find lotioning like crazy helps, and some people swear by filing them down and then lotioning, once a week. I hear using gloves to weight train isn't a good idea because it makes you grip the bar differently. Just a thought.

I got a pair of new Harbinger gloves for $8 at play it again sports. they have them online too at popular sites. I have to use gloves or the callusus are bad so the gloves are well worth the investment..
