Workouts have been going fine. Our weather has been rather unfriendly for walking but I have waiting until after noon I can still walk outside with Belle my dog.
Even did a short walk yesterday which is normally my day off. LOL
Today looks lousy with an inversion which means poor weather quality and not warming up during the day.

Luckily the inversion cleared in my neck of the woods so that I could walk before lunch. It did seem to be a bit harder and I bet it was the yuck in the air.

Cathie.....I'm still "following" the thread but that's all! Still no exercise for me other than running wild trying to get everything done! One day I'm going to go for a walk! It's always dark before I get home from work everyday this time of the year. The weather here was very nice today and should reach 70 tomorrow! Maybe it will be pretty this weekend! I hope your weather clears up some for you!

You are still doing great! I've just about given up for the holidays and am in the "after the first of the year" mode.

Walked Belle today and had to skirt snow patches LOL glad it was warm enough not to have ice on the melted areas.

I am on a get away for a few days up in the mountains of Utah. Lovely and no snow! LOL
Did 45 min on a treadmill cause it is too cold for me to work outside.
Lisha I think it would be wonderful to keep the thread going! Maybe start it anew and encourage others to join in

Yesterday, I did another mile on the bike and about 20 minutes more of basketball with my husband.
Today, I carpet shampooed and rinsed my sons' rooms(I'm exhausted so it must count!) and we are going roller skating tonight.

Maybe the last workout of the year for me as Saturdays are always really busy.
I am proud that since about the last week of September I have been a regular exerciser usually 4 to 5 times a week and for me that's what I want.
Sure hope there is someone else looking to just do something in 2012~

Hey Cathie! I will be posting "something" tomorrow no matter what! It figures that we're going to have an arctic blast come through tonight, just
when I was going to get started but I will have to do something inside I guess. It was 73 today and will be 22 within the next 24 hrs. Probably not
a big deal to most folks but that's a huge change for us down here!

I'm here to post some exercise!!!! Finally!!!

I walked for 15 minutes as fast as I could around and around our empty warehouse here at work yesterday and then went up and down our steep stairs a few times. Then when I got home I drug our double-full-from Christmas big garage can out to the end of the drive...about 50 yards and then walked back. I know that doesn't sound like much to most folks but I have been so sedentary this past 3 months that little bit felt good!

20 jumping jacks and 10 crunches.....I know that sounds like nothing but it is day 1 of a very basic beginner exercise routine and I'm just going to follow it out and maybe add walking to it once it warms back up a tad!

All of it counts as long as your moving. Good for you.

2 Miles on Treadmill in the AM and 1 Hour of Bowling for the first time with DDIL.

I walked a mile today! I did it in two different parts but I did it! I'm going to do the 30 jumping jacks in just a minute but I am skipping the crunch part just yet. Ugh!

Great job Magie! Bowling is fun to me but the place here is one of those with the laser lights and it keeps your score for you. I like an old fashion bowling alley. I need to find me one somewhere!

Yesterday turned out to be a bust as I ended up driving here and there and never getting an hour to myself until dinner time! LOL
