Morning everyone-doing better and taking it slow. I think I might have a sinus infection that could be triggering the migraines so the Neti pot is on the to do list for today. May try a short walk to get some feel good endorphins going this afternoon. Good to see everyone up and moving.

I'm still here checking in but haven't done anything as far as exercise but I'm going to jump right back in tomorrow! I should schedule time for "me" and my exercise no matter how busy I think I am. That's one of the most important things I can do and I always manage to skip it!!!

Just kidding.I walked 20 minutes on the treadmill at a 5% incline and then banged the heavybag for 5 rounds. Everyone should have a heavybag at hand. ![]() |

Wow! Everybody's doing great....except me!
I did drag the bigfull garbage can about 100 yards this mornnig and walked back....but this day is not over yet, is it!!! Yesterday I just did my housework and laundry and nightly chores but on the livestrong website they give you the calories burned for everything....even sleeping 8 hours so I always try to think of those chores as part of my exercise too! ![]() |

Hello,
I'm trying this same principle. I'm pregnant but that doesn't mean I should get to skip some type of exercise. I'm trying to walk 15 mins daily on my treadmill and do a set of planks. Last edited by Filly; 09-28-2011 at 06:57 AM.. |

I just taught 10 girls, ages 6-12 tonight at church!
Doesn't that count for something!? They are so sweet but it's a loud little bunch!My throat feels like I've been yelling at a football game! Seriously.....another day has gone by with no organized exercise for me! Leisha, I know how hard it is to squeeze in the time for exercise! Just remember the challenge is to do something, not pressuring you to do miles or whatever. As soon as I went full time at work it was like how can I find time to walk? I have to make myself do it when I come home normally. I walked one mile. |

Leisha- You are busy by nature doing lots for others and seem to give a lot of your self. Fit in what you can and as long as your happy that's what counts! Sherri- Way to go on the walks. I liked that you added " 30 days" to the do something challenge in your siggie line! |

Thanks Jeanie - I've been having trouble feeling committed to walking regularly so I thought that if I commit to 30 days everyday that would inspire me. I hope we keep this thread going forever though!!
Now I need to push myself to walk more distance wise. I'm having life stress + hormone stress and it's a good way to defuse. |
