Today I sure didn't feel like exercising, but DH said, go warm up for 5 min, if you still don't want too then don't. I did and this was the result.....drum roll please.....

When I was finished, I still didn't want to exercise.

Totals for the month of Feb: 23 days, 1150 min or 19 hrs, approx 8700 cals burned!

Still working -- four days this week. I thought retirement was a time to rest.

But it does add to the vacation fund -- someone asked where we are going...It's Cimmaron, NM. Way up in the mountains. Actually will be at Philmont Scout Ranch, sleeping in a tent! In Sept.!

We went to an 18th birthday party for a friend tonight. He's in his 70's!

Worked again today and grocery shopped for an hour -- huge store -- got lots of lc goodies!

Hope to get some gardening done tomorrow afternoon after club meeting in town. Have more beds to clean from their winter plants, transplants to set out and seedlings to transplant.

Dh bought the pool chemicals to start getting it ready for swimming season! It's almost time!

Happy Texas Independence Day to you, Kel, and all other Texans in our group! Dh and and dressed as Gen. and Mrs. Sam Houston and he gave a fantastic historical monologue to my Daughters of the Republic of Texas chapter! So proud of him! I think () I posted a pic of us on the gallery. It won't be available until tomorrow night, I think. Please check it out.

We're not in the pool yet, Kel, but we're getting closer! If he had had the water balanced today I would have gotten in it -- hot and sultry while we're waiting for one more Norther to blow down!

I didn't do any gardening until after dark. It was still warm enough then for me to be outside in a nylon sleeveless gown -- remember, no near neighbors -- but tomorrow a Norther is supposed to blow in and bring the temp down to 39* ! Maybe this is winter's last gasp. Roses, azaleas and wildflowers are blooming and it looks like Spring. Hope everyone stays safe from the weather where you are!

Hey ladies!

The beach is treating us well!

Yesterday and I did core cardio and balance and today I did the fit test. I have improved so much on the fit test in 5 weeks!

Rest day tomorrow and start month 2 of Insanity on Monday!

LOL...yea you never know about this Texas weather..one minute gorgeous, then next... well thats another story..lol. I do believe spring is here!

Rest days Sat and Sunday from structured exercise. Saturday was shop therapy then yesterday was cooking and gardening...I suppose that counts for something..lol

Today I started a new phase in Chalean Extreme.

Today was my first day of Month 2 of Insanity! Was AWESOME!! The workouts are now 60 minutes long instead of 40 minutes and they are tough, but I did great! Was so proud of myself!

everyone! Lots of great exercising going on! I was at Scout camp for the weekend, left the kitchen long enough to walk around camp some, smell the blooming mountain laurel (smells like grape flavored hard candy!), and take part in some physical team building games. Since we got back, I've been subbing for a third grade teacher. I'm counting that, too!

About to go out and do some gardening! More rain is supposed to come tomorrow, and I want things in the ground!

y'all! I spent both yesterday and today gardening! Funny, I always start with gloves on, using my handtools, and trying to stay clean, but before long, the gloves are off (and maybe the shoes too! ) and I'm up to my elbows and knees in the soil! My husband says I just like playing in the dirt!

I'll be gone for Spring Break so everyone have a great week!

I exercised yesterday, just too busy to post it..lol

Yesterday - CLX Get Lean Intervals - 428 cals burned

Today - CLX Lean 3 plus 10 minutes treadmill. Totally lame on that calorie count. 311 cals burned - (I ate more than that for breakfast)
