I have taken several months off of Callanetics and just started back up last month. It's amazing how much my body remembers these exercises and responds so quickly. I definitely need to join this challange as it's my goal to lose at least 2 sizes in the next 6 weeks. My goal is 17 for the month. I have done 2 sesssions of 10 in 10 so far. I'm dusting off Super Callanetics tonight to mix it up.

Surprisingly, most of my results so far have been upper body. I lost 1" off each upper arm and 1 1/2" inches below my bust and 1 1/2" off my bust( I think it's inches off my back). My bust seems to be lifted! Which I am very happy about. Have others noticed their bust lifting? I am wondering if any of the other videos have other exercises that work on this area. I am assuming it's the under arm tightener that's working this area.

I also lost 1" off my hips but gained an inch on my waist . Reading through the forum, I've seen others say that's temporary so I hope it starts going down soon. That's the area I was trying to tone up the most and my belly looks bigger now. I've also noticed that the left side is starting to get some lines but the right side is not. I'm not sure if I'm doing some of the exercises wrong and not working the right side enough.

I am thinking about getting Callanetics Evolution. I have a very bad swayed back. Are there more exercises to help with a swayed back in that dvd?

Overall, I'm amazed at how fast I've lost inches in my upper body though! I just took a look with a mirror at my back and it's very smooth and I have very little fat on my back now. So exciting!
Yep, picture your body like it's being rolled by a rolling pin and everything is being pushed toward the center. This means, don't be surprised if things get larger while other parts are shrinking. I had part increase up to two inches then went back down again only to lose more than two inches. Whatever happens, just know it's working!

I have a question and I hope there's someone who can help me out here
How do I know I do the stomach exercises right? Callan says to round my torso in my stomach but how do I know really 'round' it or I'm just using my back/waist muscles? Where should I feel sore/pain? I can't really tell whether I use my stomach muscles or my back muscles. What I know is, my stomach muscles start to hurt pretty early and my back+waist don't hurt.
I know it's hard to answer to a question like this but the smallest help would do wonders to me I guess
It sounds like you're doing them right. The whole point is to completely isolate your abs and relax the rest of your body, so if you ever do feel it in your back, stop and start over again making sure to relax all the other muscles, including your butt and calves, in your body before you begin. If you can think "roll" your body will eventually follow. The "roll" isn't always noticeable since you're not moving very much, but it's there. If you do it to the extent that you can actually see the roll, you're probably using your back - not good. Hope that helps!

Logging 20 min cardio and 1 hr of 10/10 done with pelvic floor activation that really intensified the workout! Love this.

done 8hrs on 10/10 and i said i was gonna post my results after 7

arms - lost 1 inch
waist - lost 1 inch
stomach - lost 1 inch
hips - lost 2inchs
bum - stayed the same
thighs - lost 1 inch

overall im very very happy and to be honest i havent been eating clean and i have few nites out drinking so to have those results is brilliant and altho my bum hasnt changed i think im the most impressed with that because its become so lifted i actually have a space from the top of my thighs to my ass which i didnt have before

Just did SuperCallanetics for the first time in several years- i'd forgotten how hard it is! Hopefully I can start doing it at least two times a week and maybe then I will start to see more of a difference. I stupidly didn't measure myself before I restarted Callanetics, and while my body feels more toned to the touch, none of my clothes appear looser (and i haven't lost any weight). I will keep going with this, though, since in the past I have repeatedly stopped Callanetics to try something more intensive which has never worked and which is why I always come back to Callanetics- now I just have to keep up with it!

Hopefully tomorrow morning I will have time to do all my measurements.

1 hour of Callanetics Evo I never used Evo before and found it different from 10/10. I like it, especially the use of the Pelvic Floor. But I did miss the original Callan. Perhaps I'll rotate them around.

The only problem I have with the 10/10 is the pretzel (hips/behind exercises). It shifts all of my hip and tush fat up, so I have a ball of goosh sitting above my bum. So icky, and I haven't been consistent enough to see if it will eventually flatten out and melt away.

For November I have done 8 hours of 10/10 and one time of trying Cardio Callanetics and one day of trying Evolution. I'm kind of experiencing what Laurakitty is where to the touch I can feel the difference....like when I touch my thigh and hips or even my arm laying in my bed or touch my thigh while walking around......but the clothes don't feel looser and meaurements haven't gone down and haven't lost weight. But I have had two friends tell me this week that it looks like I lost weight. I love working out though so I keep going......plus I do feel stronger whether numbers are going down or not.

Thank you pconnolly! I have been trying so hard to lose weight and nothing has worked even with trips to the gym.....but I remembered Callanetics worked for me about 22 years ago so I did a search and found it online last month. So excited! It makes me feel way better even if I don't lose hehe. I'm having a tough time with weight loss....I lost all my weight after every baby (5 of them) but 4 years after my last baby I took three months of steroids for a back problem and back surgery....which messed up my metabolism so for the past two years I have been gaining even with increased exercise and doing weight watchers.......but the past 2-3 weeks of Callanetics I feel so much better than I have the past two years while gaining out of the blue.

Having the support here helps alot!

Another two hours of a mixed bag of 10/10 and Super +push-ups and pull-ups and lunges.

Good job Leena!

, just listen to your body. If you're feeling a little sore, take a day off, if not, you're good to go. And yes, you can certainly do Callanetics during your menstrual cycle, in fact, I found it helps a lot with cramps.

Sometimes Callanetics works in mysterious ways. I found that it was when I wasn't looking that a few inches would fall off at a time. Just keep going and you'll see!!!
