I'm going to commit to 10 sessions of beginning Callanetics, as well as going hydrotherapy at least once a week.

I've completed one session today 1/10

Hi all!
After logging in late in September, I had unexpected houseguests and my partner picked up a big contract, which meant that I was helping him out too.... = no time for me and my callanetics! On the upside it's made me more enthusiastice for October! I'm pledging at least 15 hours, with some walking thrown in for good measure.
PG15 - your pics are fantastic! Well done you!
Hope you all have a good day

Ok so that is not going to happen but anyway I want to say that I plan on doing Callanetics (10/10) every day for the rest of 2010.
Also doing 20,000 steps on pedometer and NO S diet.
So there you go.
For New Year's Eve I wil be in a size 10 - Godwilling!

Hellooo October! I met my goal of 6 sessions last month (came in halfway through month!). I'm ready for my first full month of Callanetics.

I'm committing to 12 sessions of 10 in 10. Plus 12 sessions of cardio to augment the callanetics results I hope to achieve and help with fat loss.

I also wanted to ask how long it took people to really start seeing results with Callanetics and if they were doing cardio with it as well. I can FEEL results, but I'm not SEEING results and I haven't lost inches. I've only done six sessions and I'm very pear-shaped so I know it will take a while longer, just wondering when feeling stronger and taller will translate into visible differences in pictures and the way my clothes fit.

For those of you who've really seen pretty dramatic transformations... was it just the callanetics, or were there other things you were doing to see your results?

I'm in for 10 sessions of 10x10

Hour 1 done

Can anyone tell me how to edit a signature? Somehow my signature disappeared , now it's much more difficult to keep track of my progress...

Hi Slanie!
In my experience there isn't a precise answer to your question, in the sense that everyone's different so you'll find people who had astonishing results with 20 hours, others (like me) who had to work harder.I'm pear-shaped as well and used to do Callanetics along with cardio, I had constant but slow results. It depends on your body areas too: I experienced dramatic improvement around my waist (lost 2-3 cm after the first 19 hours) because it was my area with less fat and more muscle, it took me months to shed 4 cm from my hips. But don't be put off: you'll get results if you stick with it. Be patient!

Logging 1 hour on Friday and 20 minutes yesterday before going to bed. Hope to do at least 10 hours even this month!
Good luck to everyone!

pg15: well done, great results!

Hi all!
I'm new here and am returning to Callanetics after a long break. I've also dabbled in South African Callanetics, Tracey Anderson method etc but nothing much for a while now ...
I always feel more energised in Autumn so I'm gonna really push myself this month and put this to the test -
Callanetics Cardio and Callanetics Evolution on alternate days with one day off per week -
to see if I can make a dramatic difference to my shape in a month. I don't have a huge amount of weight to lose (about 15 lbs) but really want to get my body fat percentage down to a healthier level, look and feel more toned and have more energy.
Logged one hour yesterday and off to do another right now.

Best of luck to everyone - and pg15: just the inspiration I needed!!! Thanks

D

Thanks for the reply Sweettooth! It's nice to hear that even though it took you awhile you did see good results with Callanetics. I just kinda felt like it's almost all or nothing because I hear and see so many people seeing dramatic changes in less than 10 hours, and it's much more slow going for me... I was thinking perhaps I needed a different program even though I love this one. But I'll certainly stick to it!

Completed 1 of 12 sessions of 10-10 last night. Logging 1 of 12 cardio sessions for month tonight.

I have a boil on the upper right hand side of my behind and it has proved too painful to even try callanetics, that makes me sad.
Happy pulsing ladies!!!

That's amazing! I'd like to look like your before pic. Besides Callanetics, what else are you doing exercise-wise and diet-wise?

I don't like diets, but I'm very careful about what and when I eat.

For better results, I want to combine callanetics and cardio.

Good luck for everyone!

Logging a session of Evolution for yesterday, and walked on Sunday. Missed out on Monday - except I spent two hours practicing Jap swordfighting kata with a friend - not hugely energetic, but better than nothing.
Worked a 12 hour shift at the hospital on Tuesday and was so tired it was all I could do to try and be civil to my family (and I don't think I was very)

Best of all, though, is today I have finally broken through the 94kg barrier! I only lost one kg last month, and it's taken another month to get to below 94kg. That said, the centimetres have still been coming off little by little, which is why I have just kept on keeping on, and trusting that the right thing will happen. I don't want to do drastic diet things, since my whole philosophy from the outset has been about making manageable and permanent changes, not dieting.
