I wonder how many calories running a snow blower daily for about 45 mins burns?

UGH!

Our family moved from Georgia to Western New York last September.

I was raised in Georgia and have NEVER seen so much snow in my whole life as I have since the first of December!

I have to snow blow several inches of snow that we keep getting about every 24 hours. I found that running the car over the snow made it like thick ice and dangerous to walk over.

So, 45 mins of snow blowing = how many calories burned?

I do work up a sweat by the time that I'm done, so I must be burning something!

According to ****** about 5 Calories per minute assuming you are walking behind it. So 225 Calories.

WOW- that sounds great. Thanks for the quick answer

I am walking behind it and even though it's suposed to be self propelled, I'm still doing a great deal of manual repositioning with it and working up a sweat.

l guess it can count for part of my daily exercise! It has to be done so there's no getting out of it because I don't feel like exercising any particular day.

My husband works from 7am till around 9pm so all of the daytime outside work falls on me. Unlike mowing the grass, the driveway has to be cleared of snow as needed.
