Yay new thread! I was VERY lax over Christmas as had friends and family staying. Consequently, I feel that my body has gone slightly wobbly, so going to step it up this month and pledge 20
sessions of Callanetics (a mix of 10/10 and Cardio C.)Good luck everyone! |

Hello!
Hello! I'm new here to this forum -- I joined because of the Callanetics threads. I have been interested in starting for a while now but never had the chance; I plan on starting tomorrow as I just got my DVDs.
I'd like to join this challange if that's alright; do I just put a goal number of hours for the month of January? If so, my goal will be 14 hours seeing as I plan on doing Callanetics every other day. I only have the 10/10 DVD right now, I did order Super but I accidentally ordered a VHS!! Whoops... I'll start with 10/10, though, and at some point I'll buy the Super. I'm so excited!! |

lori121- I searched them on youtube and found several. There is one whole set that has the titles in another language but the video is still in English. |

In for 13 Hours
I just started doing the 10/10 DVD last month and I'm loving it. I'll commit to 13 hours in January. I have been doing them every other day, but I'm resting my neck today - JM's Banish Fat Boost Metabolism kicked my butt...
January goal: 13 hours to date: 2 hours done Question: my neck continues to hurt doing the stomach exercises. Is it alright to hold my legs with my elbows out while pulsing, or would I be better off trying to reduce the amount that I curl up so I can keep my arms straight and hands by my hips? When I hold my hands behind my neck, it feels much better, but does this reduce the effect of the exercises? Thanks and Good luck to all! |

inertia6 -- I have the same problem as you! I find that my neck hurts a lot during the stomach exercises, and I really am trying to use my abs; I keep my chin tucked to my chest, yet my neck keeps on hurting. I would be so happy if anyone could answer this question! I, too, wonder if putting my hand behind my neck for support would reduce the effectiveness of the exercises? I seem to vaguely remember that in one of the videos she said it was ok to do, but i might just be making that up! :/
