Can't believe it's already December. Had 2 a lovely fall walks along the river(one in the early morning, one after work). Used my weights and really got a good workout.

Woohoo! Lots of us doing it. Welcome to newcomers.
I walked after swimming, close to 2 miles. I could have done more but I homeschool the kiddo and have to get to it early. If I get even close to 80 miles, I will faint! lol Keep on truckin' ![]() |

I did the WATP Fat burner walk-2 mile today.
So, that is 2 down. 48 to go. Tomorrow I am going to try the Fat burning Walk- 4 Mile. I am going to go get some more of her videos this weekend,so that I can change them up. I used to do it 8 years ago and like it. Jeanie |

Way to go people!!
I did not walk this morning. lol I swam my laps and by the time I got home, the dog, kid and hubby were out walking! Ack! We have park day with homeschool families, will hit the track at the park. By the way, I must say, I love my new walking shoes. I have had bad experiences where I purchase a shoe that fits in the store but causes some type of discomfort when I hit the streets. Not this time. Yeah! |

Did 2 quick miles in the park this morning and hope to get in 2 more after work but it looks like rain is coming so maybe not.
My tree is up! We have a bubbler tree - the trunk is a plastic cylinder filled with water that bubbles. Kinda cool. My DH is a bit of a decorations fanatic. I love the sights and music of the season too. Welcome 7litleangels. I've done the Leslie Sansone DVD's. They are a great way to get an indoor walk. ![]() Kaimi - I'm with you - diet is more of a challenge than exercise, but thank goodness at least I'm trying with both. The holidays will be a huge challenge. We have multiple parties every weekend starting this Sat. I plan to bring my own food whenever it's appropriate and otherwise do the best I can. Dec total - 6miles ![]() |

Good luck getting your walk in before the rain arrives... it's here already and we may or may not see snow... according to the weatherman, it depends on whether the cold temps can catch up with the rain.... I'm hoping it doesn't! They are calling for windchills in the 20s tomorrow! |

I don't like the treadmill either (gave mine to a church auction years ago) but I can do the mini tramp. Still boring
but much better than the treadmill. I bought a couple of curves CD's that have a fast beat and just march to the music. I use hand and ankle weights to up the intensity a little. BUT I much prefer outdoor walking and usually put on layers, mittens, a hat and head out the door. Within 15 minutes I'm sweating!![]() And the grand daughters love the mini tramp too. It's raining and I'm not walking or tramping - just lazy!![]() |

Oh wow, this is funny, or not..lol..but I have a mini trampoline also. I have used one for over 20 plus years off and on. I so recommend it when you cannot get out. And I dread any type of treadmill. Tried it before and yeah, I couldn't wait to get off it., I was really intimidated with trying new things on it as well. The gym was just a waste for me. lol, shun. I layer and sweat also. I am going on that mini tonight just for fun! lol |

WOW Did I say 90 miles?
Ok really I meant to say 60 thats more realistic for me as I already do atleast 45 now ![]() ![]() So I am correcting that to 60. I'm still at 1 though because it rained all day here so I hope to get in atleast 3 tomorrow ** got to pay more attention when typing... ![]() |

Good job, on the walking ladies.
My treadmill is boring because it's not in front of the TV and hate it. I was faithful on it before we moved and could pass the time faster with watching one of my favorite shows but now with my iPod the time seems to go by slower ..... I'm going to walk in about 5 minutes. or in 30 minutes. ![]() |

Ran/walked 3 miles so far...
Going to get on the treadmil this morning and lift weights AGAIN!!! IF I could do this everyday with out excusses then I would be on my way to a great FIT life.. 1/2 a marathon is just plain scary to me.. I am sure that you will do great... MY goals are to RUN every other day until I can do 5 miles in under 1 hour and to run them completely without stoping... I really need to work on the cardio.. MY diet has never been the issue, it is the fact that I am lazy. |

What can I say? I love food. Especially, buffets! I was doing Leslie DVD in my bedroom and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I feel like 200 pounds with my big A$$ (.)(.) nips! Sorry, needed to vent. ![]() I did 3 miles this morning and then after lunch I walked 2 more miles to finish out the DVD. I have hair appt. tomorrow and it's supposed to rain but will try to do a DVD in the morning before leaving and then come back home to finish it. Today, makes day 1 of NO chips and NO icecream! Of course, I don't have any here and I'm going out tomorrow. Scary, scary, scary. Next will be NO WW cakes - had the last lemon cake today and that's why I can't call it day 1 w/o sugar. ![]()
