November Callanetics Challenge!

everyone!

November is already here, bringing in the beautiful fall colors and the crisp Autumn weather!

Let's begin this month with another beautiful challenge of Callanetics..

This month I will focus on my form and posture and will do atleast 3-4 hours every week. I will also add a couple days of some cardio exercise, even walking.

I am US size 10 and weigh 128 pounds. My target is to reduce my weight by atleast 10 pounds and also come back to my original size of US 4 or even a size 6 is good, in about 2 months time.

So I am going to start eating healthy, less fat and more veggies.

Happy pulsing everyone!

I am in for the november challenge. For me it's going to be everyday in theory, 5-6 days a week in practice. I've been really disciplined for two months, this one can't be less

I am shooting for 12 to 16 hours this month. I've been averaging about 3 hours a week so far. I plan to incorporate other barre workouts too. Hopefully, I'm building muscle & cardio wont be as hard- for at least 2 to 3 xs a week.

Catapulta I changed my netflix order to Core Exhale Fusion Sculpt instead of Lotte Berk- so I wont have to face the bossy lady

I am sleeping better and I didnt even know I was holding so much tension in my back now that Callanetics has totally relaxed it out.

Count me in. I've slacked off the past two months but I'm putting in some effort in the run up to Christmas. I'm aiming for a realistic and achievable 10 hours of 10/10 plus some dancing.

Good luck everyone.

It's a cold morning here in London but the sun is shining and it encouraged me to get out of bed and do 10/10!

At least 10 and maybe 12

I'm aiming for 3 x a week. I also do weight training 3 x a week, and sometimes I do it before I do Callanetics. Then my muscles really feel it, and I get a great stretch.

Core Fusion is fantastic... and hard!! I like specially the arm exercises which I do 3 times a week, they are done with light weights (I use 2 pound dumbells)

I'm in for some form of Callanetics 4-5 times per week.

I have also done Core Fusion. They were the first barre type exercises I tried. I think the arm exercises are great but tough. Those 10 minutes seemed like forever but I have never liked upper body work so I whine when I do it . I may try Core Fusion again and see if Callanetics has made doing them more enjoyable for me

1 hour of 10/10 done.

Tried to remind myself to relax every now & then. Also, tried to focus more on form rather than the repetitions.

Ab exercises are still quite difficult. Have to alternate between keeping hands straight like in the DVD for 50 reps and then on the neck for the remaining 50.

Felt like I had a good exercise in the legs.

Also got another book - 30 day countdown callanetics - i guess Back to basics is what i need to correct my form!

Hello all!!
For me, it will be 10/10 x 20 times + 30-60 min of cardio daily.

I also started to count my WW points again... hopefully, it will get me ready for the holidays...

1/20 done

Ouffffffffff. I love it.

I woke up in a VERY bad mood this morning so I did 1st part of cardio callanetics and then did the callanetics evolution and what do you know I was in a much better mood the rest of the day!

I thought I could do this whole losing weight thing on my own but I think I need to become a regular poster so that I can stay more motivated...I want to do at least 3 sessions a week plus 3 cardios of any type I'm getting married in March and need to lose at least 15 pounds!

I've done my first 10/10 yesterday, right after I came back from fitness club. Could really feel how tired my muscles are, even had to cheat in stomach exercises.

Woke up at 5am this morning stressed out about work. The only thing that truly relaxes me (other than a glass of wine!) is 10/10. So I've just completed an hour and feel soooooooooo much better. Stomach exercises were hard going though because I am so tense in the neck and shoulder area...
Anyway time for a shower then off to work to get more stressed!

Callanetics really makes me focus and slow down to pay attention. It's not like other workouts where my mind can roam, but centers me totally in my body. It's a lot like yoga for me and I always feel so much calmer mentally afterwards.

Did 10/10 Monday and Firm Strength today. Feeling a lot less sore from 10/10 and makes the dread factor drop considerably!

I'm here for another round!
I find AM/PM Callanetics is the only way I can exercise without getting bored. So far I have done one session yesterday and one today.
I'm going to try and do 5 sessions a week for this month, and try to eat healthily.

Quick question, with this programme, should you do cardio? (I HATE cardio, in any form!)

Yes, a total fitness program should incorporate some form of cardio...not what you want to hear I know

newmomtx thanks for starting the challenge.

I'm in for this month to help when needed and also to continue with my goal of 2 x per week. Please don't ask if I achieved my goal last month I started off ok for the first couple of week and then went on holiday and lost it along the way

Never mind it's another month and I'm 1 hour down already and off for my 2nd for the week

Good luck everyone for this month's challenge and

HAPPY PULSING

SANDRAHANNA between callanetics i do cardio. but i only do the 30 mins of cardiocallanetics and not of evolution. is that fine. i assume at least i am getting some form of cardio. what do you think?

also when i do the pelvic scoop. callan says not to put pressure on ur calfs..however after doing the exercise thats where i feel it. i feel i am not doing that right. should i be feeling it in the calf and how can i avoid that in future? thanks
