Just completed my hour for today. I found it really hard today. Isn't it funny how sometimes it's easy and other times it's a real struggle.

I'm definitely up for the challenge! Although I don't think I'm able to lose

Now then, where's that credit card...

I know I promised these as a birthday present (next month)... But I just couldn't wait

So, Evo and CardioC are on their way!

Anyway, if I look good on my birthday, I won't need any more gifts, right

So far I have done 1.5/10 for this month .

The .5 is because I thought the dvd was over and I stopped...then I thought "wow that was quick" ...when in reality I still had another half hour to go.

Thus far...I am enjoing it !

hello!
i really enjoy callanetics but sometimes i think that the more im doing the harder it is for me. maybe because i discover myself doing it wrong day by day, but i really do feel some results, i started to do to it 4 or 5 times a week since the end of august. actually i was doing some before, just to try, but it was not regular.

i am 181 cm and weight 62 kilograms, but i dont like my waist area and i would like to have slimmer hips although its not so bad even now, but..!. also i hate my calves i want to get rid of this "jelly" around my calves so much! and have more straight and slim calves.

im hoping so much its possible.
im wearing size 38, sometimes i can find into 36, but i want to feel comfortable in that size!

can you give me some advices how to reach it faster? if its possible..

what exercises are really "killers" to that areas?

thank you very mucch, and im sorry for my bad english - im not native

4/8 Callanetics done and I absolutely love doing it again!

I got my Evolution dvd yesterday and I couldn't wait to give it a try, I have to say I really like it a lot. My favourite exercises were the legs and hip & behind movements (whilst I really like the 10/10 ones, I enjoyed not having to be on my knees) and the stomach exercises. I liked that the three instructors were working at different levels so I was able to follow the beginner and intermediate level depending on how strong I felt for each exercise. I also liked the extra stretches compared to 10/10 especially the shoulder blade stretches.

I struggled to keep my pelvic floor engaged but I'm sure that will improve with time. Thank you Sandra for such a fab dvd! Though I've already completed the two hours I set myself to do this week I'm going to be doing the Evo dvd at least one more time this weekend.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Before I tried callanetics (that is a week ago) I used to walk on my toes as much as I could (I do it barefoot)... and it did work for me... Am 5 7.5" and weigh 59-ish (I fluctuate ) and eventhough the rest of my body needs a LOT of toning my calves are almost there ... This is pretty basic and results wont be as fast as callanetics ... but it does work and its hardly any added effort.

Hope I helped

Agghh! I'm sick! Started feeling like I was coming down with something on Monday evening, and I've been fighting it all week long. It's not the flu, thank goodness, just a bad cold, but the flu is going around in this area. I've been washing my hands so much that I feel like Lady Macbeth.

I haven't done any Callan since Monday. I'm hoping to feel better soon so I can get back to it.

I had a big fight with my boss today and I'm still angry. I can't shake it. I just tried to do Callanetics and I just couldn't. Isn't it funny how anger affects the body. It must be very bad for us. I wish I could screw the anger up like a piece of paper and throw it in the garbage.

thank you very much. you really did

my weight is really stable actually, i never notice big changes, it was once 59, most of the time then 60, now its 62 and i was a bit surprised when i saw it even if i was not doing anything special (and i never did before) i thought i would lose some kilograms through the summer, because it was active,i did not eat well and so on.
i do not consider myself overweight in any way, but i would like to weight just few kilos less i want it sooooooooooo much! and to fit in 36 size

by the way i did not made any big changes in my daily menu, i dont think i really need it, because i dont even have much time to eat everyday! so i hope it will be ok.

im doing callanetics before sleep, most of the time 10/10 but few times i did shorter version from am/pm

Poor you...bosses can be the pits, and totally losing it with them can really shake you up. You've got a point about how anger must affect us internally. I'm trying to relax over the neighbors' throwing cigarette butts over the fence. Serenity now... Serenity now...

You could try something aerobic first. That tends to dissipate the angry energy. Then do Callanetics. Serenity then!

I've just started doing Romy's calves exs that she posted in last month's challenge. Let's see if that will help budge these big calves of mine!

Europiete, try these: August Callanetics Challenge

anu.anusha - thanks for the toe walking tip - glad it's working for you.

Interesting what people do for their legs. I had been working on my legs at the gym, but I've cut down on that since Callanetics. I don't want to overwork them.

I definitely think I've gotten slimmer since Callanetics even if the scale shows no weight loss (so frustrating grrr). I'll just keep in up and reassess when I lose more weight.
