Your first exercise video ever.

Hey folks, here's a fun question.

What was the first exercise video you ever did in your life.

One of the firsts that I ever did was Jane Fonda's original workout way back in the 80's when I was a kid.

I loved doing it. I enjoyed every bit of it complete with my tights and slouch socks. And I still love doing it. It's alot of fun.

People are so judgmental with me being a man having done this and that I still do it. I still fear I will get ridiculed for it and my choice of tight attire for a man, but I say to them, Oh well!

Your opinions to me are always welcome.

Thank you so much.

Take care and god bless you all.

Warmly yours,
Chris

Hahaha, it is so embarassing but it was Richard Simmons Disco Sweat!
My upstairs neighbor was in it and so my sister and i ended up doing it. I am too young to know this much disco.

I was in college in Oregon and I had an early class so I didn't have time to get to the gym unless I got up at an unGodly hour so I asked Billy Blanks for help.

I did Tae Bo in my living room at 6am while my roommate was sleeping. I liked it until I broke a coffee table with a kick,

Mine was Sweating to the Oldies 3. I still hear those songs and fight the urge to break into the routine.

I did a Jane Fonda video my freshman year of college. I did it so much, I think I had everything they said memorized.

I don't know how to insert a youtube video into my post, but here is a link to some clips. The super tan lady in the purple bra was my favorite (for real).

Jane Fonda! Before the video, we had her LP with Michael Jackson's "Can you feel it?" I still think of her saying "Jog, jog, jog, now jumping jacks" whenever I hear that song.

Yes, she sure did and I think that it was her ONLY one. You can get it for $1.14 on VHS.

It's called: Jennie Garth's Body in Progress [VHS] (1992)

I have no idea. I think Walk Away the Pounds was the first one I ever bought, though. I'm sure I tried to do other ones before through Exercise TV but I don't remember what they are called now.

Oh Elizabeth, that Jane Fonda video was MY first video workout too!! I used to do it every day after high school!! Man, that video clip was a blast from the past!

I also brought it to college with me, and had some of my roomates doing it with me. He hee... my friend and I still laugh about the "ride the horse" segment.
