I want to get Evolution too. I have to say that somewhere around the third month of doing 10/10 I thought I was ready to move on. I got Super C, watched/tried it once and was very afraid! I haven't taken it out since. I just went on with 10/10 and concentrated alot more, took tips from the board, and honestly can say I get so much more out of it now than when I first started if you know what I mean? It was something Sondra had said when I asked a question that made me kinda of reverse and concentrate. I can't explain it.

ps...........your Avitar intimidates me!!

My Evolution DVD is still not here. I was hoping to start it this week. I finished June with 20 sessions but this month I'm going to focus more on form and quality of the workout than quantity. That being said, I'd still like to complete 14.

Hi Lori,
Welcome! This is such an amazing workout. I recommend starting with the original Callanetics: 10 years younger in 10 hours. I think that is what most of us started with. There is also a new DVD out that is called Evolution. I am still anxiously awaiting my copy. It's an updated and 'evolved' workout or so I'm told. Sandra, who started this months thread, is the instructor in the video. I'm sure whatever you end up ordering is going to give you great (and fast) results!

yep, I'm in. I'll be away for most of the month, and it's often hard to keep up the momentum when travelling but I'm determined this time! Gotta get my legs back to where they were after doing Evo regularly all of last summer!

I'm in for 13 callan workouts and 12 cardio sessions.

I have the am/pm, 10/10 and the Evolution workouts. I really like them all. I like the Evolution dvd because you can pick and choose the body parts that you want to work out -it makes it easier for me to split up the workout throughout the day.

Looking forward to July.

I'm in for 18 hours...yikes! Can I count the "Quick Callanetics" videos as half an hour?? I am afraid I'll get completely bored with my "Ten in Ten" video.

Returning from two weeks of vacation, so I'm ready to get back into my routine, aiming for 2 Supers per week.

I was able to do a couple sessions while on vacation. It's wonderful to know that Callanetics can be done practically anywhere, no equipment, and assures a good night's sleep even when traveling.

Hi everyone,
Newbie here and have done the lower body portions of both Evolution and 10/10. Love that you can pick and choose which section to do on these DVDs.

Since my question wasn't answered last month I will post here again...
I am wondering since my lower body is my main focus can I do 3-4 sessions a week of just lower body from Evo or 10/10 and then 1 full body session?

Also in 10/10 she has you holding onto a ballet bar but I don't have anything like that and wondering if I could lay down like in Evo and so the exercises. This is what I did this morning and it seemed to be fine but wondering if I am not getting something out of it by laying on the ground (as in Evo).

I plan on switching between 10/10 and Evo for this month. Not sure how many hours I will be doing since I will be doing more lower body focus which is around 30 minutes on each DVD. My butt has been sore this week.

Thanks
Rhonda

I'm in for 12 hours divided between Evo and 10/10 (1 x week with the additional hip and butt from Super C.)
I'm also in for 8 hours Cardio C.

I was a little ambitious last month and my body let me know it. I've decided that it means my form is better not that I'm getting old.

Ok, well June wasn't a good Callan month for me...between getting sick and going on vacation, so I resolve to do much better this month. I am going to aim for at least 2 Super C's a week.

I don't have a ballet bar either. I use one of my dining room chairs.

I'm in!
I've made up my mind and tried to set different goals this month: I will be doing either SuperC or Evolution legs and hips/behind exercises at least 3x week and one full workout once a week, choosing between the two of them.
So it will be 12 sessions for the lower body and 4 complete ones.

I've seen that doing the lower body part takes roughly half an hour, and it will be easier for me to stick to it as July will be a tough month at work.

I'm trying to change my workouts focusing more on cardio as I need to shed the last 2 kilos, so I guess I'll be pushing myself to a cardio session every day, be it at least 20 mins of interval training.
I'm off to my first lower body session!

Hello folks !

I'm new but have been lurking a while already... I'm in for 15 hours in July (I'm shooting for the moon so, even if I lose my challenge, I'll still land among the stars ^.^)

I'll come back later for a proper introduction, no time right now. But still, I want to thank everyone here, you are so inspirational ! Reading the monthly threads is always such a joy

Just did my cardio for the day. I did the hip hop abs cardio and the 30 minutes flew by! It is really a fun workout. I did 10 minutes on the stairclimber this am and plan to do 10 minute on the treadmill or elliptical this afternoon.

Off to do my 1st 10 in 10 today! I'm going to take pictures to track my progress!

WATCH-ME-SHRINK, hi, I always see you around the Callanetics threads and you seem to know lots about it. I've noticed that you talk about "eating clean." Stupid question, but what exactly do you define this as? (eg. are you allowed things like coffee, meat, etc?) Thanks for the help.
