Just finished 1/14 for the month. I'm hoping Evo will be here by this weekend so I can shake things up. If not I'm dusting off Super C. Yikes! (in a good way- lol)

Hi all

So glad I found you. I started back with Callanetics last week and have 4/10 done. I am aiming at 3x 10/10 a week starting tomorrow. So I guess that would be lucky 13. I like to do it Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
I'll be back tomorrow.

Hello all. I'd think I'd like to rejoin the fun.

Today I did 10/10 and added some pushups and tricep pulses from Evolution.

Hi and

The Callanetics exercise program is a deep but gentle body sculpting workout. We not only train our larger surface muscles but we also target the deeper muscles to promote a leaner body shape.

We get in to a position to isolate the group of muscles that we are going to train. We then tone and shape the muscle by using a tiny, delicate movement which we call a pulse. This pulsing action is what makes the Callanetics program a unique method of body sculpting.

The method focuses on technique and form so it's definitely not a mindless workout. We set up a position following a standard pattern or format. This format ensures that we are protecting the body while we move in to and out of position and also while we are in position.

It looks easy to watch but it definitely isn't easy and the stronger we become the deeper and more intense we feel the muscles working. So some beginners may find the workout intimidating and get frustrated.

The upside is, if you persist and keep your workouts close together you see a difference in your body shape very quickly. Many see a big difference after 10 - 15 sessions and have dropped a dress size.

The benefits are also therapeutic so you'll notice other changes such as a difference in how you walk and move even dance. You'll notice a more youthful overall look, even in the face. Your chest will open up and your neck line will become longer and youthful.

Another upside is that we also activate and train our pelvic floor muscles so we also find that our sexual desire increases and we achieve deeper orgasms a big for us all I reckon.

This may have been more info than you needed or wanted but...you did ask and I can never by succinct when it comes to talking or describing Callanetics

I hope you join us and see for yourself what Callanetics exercises can do for you. Don't forget to keep checking in to this thread as this will keep you motivated and others will inspire you to continue on your journey.

Happy Pulsing

Just wanted to post an update on my previous post regarding cellulite on my legs. After about 2 weeks, continuing my daily Callanetics, in addition to eating cleanly, daily dry brushing and proper amounts of sleep, a majority of the cellulite faded away. Needless to say I am thrilled, just in time for summer!!!

I have recommitted to getting back on plan; slowly got off plan with traveling and working long hours. Procrastination set in and acted like my friend making it easy to negotiate my work outs and way of eating. I now know when Ms. Procrastination attempts to come my way, I need to redirect those thoughts and just do my plan, NO 2nd Guessing. Today, I publicly share with others that I am back on track, I feel so liberated. YEAH!!!

I'm in for 8 hours

Okay - I give.......I've been away for awhile, but I'm back.

I gave myself a talking-to because the last month I've been having a lot of pain in my hip caused by osteoarthritis of the lower spine. And....I KNOW that exercising for flexibility is what helps the most. I don't know how much time to pledge this month as I just had some minor surgery on my big toe. I'm thinking there are some positions I won't be able to get into for a couple of weeks, but I'll do my best.

Question: Coconut oil vs Coconut Milk

Hi all,

I just had a question. My store just started carrying So Delicious Vanilla Coconut Milk. I know alot of people here take coconut oil. I am wondering if the milk has the same benefits as the oil. I bought some to use in my protein shakes - I usually use almond milk.

Open-Close Tip:

This may have been covered by another poster in prior challenges, but just in case it hasn't, I've discovered that it's very effective to split up the Open-Close segment (Super C) into two or three sets of X. So for me, I do three sets of 30, and I could really feel a difference, both in quads and inner thighs. I advanced to the next exercise in sequence, then I'd return and do the second set of O/C, then rest while doing another, then returned for the third set.

Just thought I'd share that one.

Just popping by to say hi. Sorry I'm still AWOL, we are in the middle of moving house - and all madness has ensued! Just wanted to say I got my FBF doing this (she gets married on the 19th of this month) and she has just had to have her wedding outfit taken in 2" (at great expense!, its a typical intricate indian wedding outfit!)..Callanetics is truly fabulous, and really works!

See you all very soon.

Did my 1st hour of I don't know how many (I'm going to try and aim for 20!) yesterday although I ate absolutely awfully. I still don't have the hang of the waist stretchers and the behind and hips exercises are sooo difficult, but I'm feeling great. I'm going to do my second session today!

I'm a man. Do you think I should do Callanetics?

Hello. I'm Chris. I'm new here. I just joined today.

I'm a man who is 26 going on 27.

I want to know if I should be doing Callanetics.

If you think I do and I really wanna try it, I need all the encouragement and support I can get.

Your opinions to me are always welcome.

Thanks much and I hope to have a long enjoyable stay.

Take care and god bless you.

Warmly,
Chris
