What are your favorite ab workouts?

So does everyone here have a favorite ab routine?

I'm trying to focus on building more muscle in my abs for when I do get closer to goal. I'm already running 3-4 miles a day on top of doing strength training 3x a week. And yes, I am plenty aware that I can't spot reduce.

Ab Sculpt (Turbo Jam) is one of my favorites and also one of the few ab programs I am aware of. I was just curious if anyone has found any other ab programs they really liked and could really see a difference when in conjuction with proper eating and exercise.

I also have done Hip Hop Abs, which I really like as well. I downloaded everything Shaun T has, but got overwhelmed and wasn't sure which workout to do. So I haven't stuck to that for very long as well.

I've also done Pilates, but something about it just doesn't appeal to me as much. I'll do it for a couple sessions and then get bored of it.

I'm not opposed to standing ab routines or mat work. I used to hate doing abs on the floor but now that my core is actually pretty strong, I'm not opposed to it.

So if you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them!

Ab Jam is probably one of my favorites.

Also, Lotte Berk "Hip Hugger Abs" is a great one.

I tried Ab Ripper X yesterday and WOW, that was HARD. I also did Extreme Abs and I am liking that MUCH more, and I also could really feel it in my abs. I also may be biased since I love Chalene.

Ok, that doesn't look like it works anything in the ab area...only works your arm/shoulders. Funny, I guess how it's moving so fast.

1. Ab Ripper X - P90X is no joke! Hardest but best Ab workout I have ever done. I'll be doing it for the next 13 weeks and can't wait to see the results!

2. Ab Jam - Turbo Jams series is fun and I love doing standing ab work!

3. Hip Hop Abs is fun but I only do it when I need to switch routinues up.

4. Any Katami DVD workout with the heavy bar (blue). It allows you to get deeper extension without any pain only gain. =)

Just my 2 cents. Looking forward to reading everyone else's.

My favorite ab exercises are:

1. Ball roll (in a push up position with your feet on a stability ball and using your core to pull the ball towards you both front and each side)
2. Plank and it's variations
3. Criss cross (from pilates)

Just doing these exercises hits all the ab muscles and I'm done in 10 minutes!
