Emily, you missed my question. Now that you have the extra DVDs from Chalene, would you actually pay full price for them. In other words, is the DVD worth $50?

Pep, lots of people are having siggy issues.

Emily! I tried. I really tried but I totally get what you were talking about in LEAN.

I don't like the two body parts at once thing. At least not the LEAN version. It is annoying. It is difficult to concentrate on perfecting form while your body is doing that opposite thing that also requires concentration.

More complicated than the rub your tummy pat your head thing.

So I am doing Round 2 of Extreme. I'm starting BURN tomorrow. When I get to the LEAN phase, I will just do P90X Lean for 30 days. It's a nice hybrid that will also break things up a bit as well.

My eating is now extremely low carb and so far, big differences.

*hates hearing Lean is annoying*

Arg.

Really enjoying Push, and loved Burn.

Still eating like Porketta Pigethetta (the Italian piglet you all may have heard of) and still seeing positive changes in my level of flabitude

Dang. Muscle really does Eat.Fat.

So, anyways, midway through Push. still obsessed with getting my workouts in. Still think Chalene has to be the cutest thing going. Kinda got a good girlfriend/BFF crush on her.

So our development *finally* opened our community pool. We have no furniture cause they forgot to order it, but the pool passed inspection - finally!

So I'm thinking I might sneak away mid-day and swim if I can fit it in this week.

DH and I are headed to Atlantic City this coming weekend - it's ma birf day - June 21. So I'm off Friday and next Monday. We'll be there Sat thru Mon. Thinking of scheduling a massage and facial on Friday.

Hope you babes are enjoying this almost balmy, breezy summer weekend.

I'm still waiting for the big YES LADYB, YOU TOLD ME CHALENE ROCKED.

I did not do P90X Lean version; I did Classic and I think doing LEAN will be a good addition plus he has more cardio in there and his cardio is quite something.

My eating really is the only thing I needed to focus on because I was bringing it to each and every workout and just not getting the results I was looking for so the only thing left was food.

I am taking no prisoners and my carb intake has been drastically cut. I mean to get lean here and since the workouts weren't the problem, we shall see what happens now that the food is under the spotlight.

Have fun in Atlantic City, missy. Text me if you win big.

I distinctly recall a "thank you" email!

Off to Turbo Jam for my Chalean Cardio day.

Hi babes!

Got in a good aerobic workout last night - Cardio Party 2 and Ab Burner. Tonite (unless I take a rest day - I've literally been sleeping 10+ hours every night so I'm *very* exhausted) is Push 2.

I've been avoiding rest days this week as this weekend's my birthday and I'll be doing no workouts Sat and Sun (other than wrestling with a one-armed bandit in Atlantic City! )

Still trying to order my eating ... I've avoided counting calories cause I know I'm getting in too many.

Oh, here's a question for you Turbo Jam fans ... did any of you sign up at wowy.com? It appears like its a fitness board for Turbo Jammers. I'm wondering if its worth it, or if they have valuable info. Thoughts?

Pep. I need to tell you that in the beginning, you need to take the rest days. You are spinning your wheels if you don't.

The muscles grow and change when you're resting, not when you're working out. You know Chalene would insist.

Do I need to send her a message on FB and ask her to chastise you for not resting?

Hater.

Yes I went ahead and did Push 2 tonite (pre LadyB's scolding). This is a weird week though - truly. I usually take my rest days. It's just that I don't want to miss workouts, and have been successful thus far making sure I don't ...

Anywho, I squeezed it in before we took Duncan to the vet for his dental consultation. Ack: $1200 estimate for cleaning and extractions. We have to call back to schedule the actual dental once the doc calls us back to confirm that his blood test didn't show any internal issues that would preclude him from being sedated for the cleaning.

I may rest tomorrow, instead of doing cardio - we'll see.

Oh, and no one signed up for the wowy site? Hmmmm?

I signed up for it and have a coach but she is very New. York. Hot but New. York.

You are funny, Pep. Sorry about Duncan, though. Poor thing!

Yesterday was beautiful, but it rained again today, I new it was coming, I could tell from my nose. Now I know when storms are coming, I finally put it together. I did my first day of grocery, spent under $180. Yay, tomorrow is wally world and sam's. My SIL had her baby on sat, so I will go see her tomorrow, too. DS is gone all week to scout camp, he gets back on his 12th birthday, on Sat. So DD is helping me with the shopping and house. We watch Girls Just Wanna Have Fun last night. I need to do some cardio, just not in the mood.

Wow, where've you babes run off to?

Had a wonderful weekend away for my birthday, but no exercise for a good 3 days straight while away. Back on the saddle today (this is the last week of Push), but I am nursing a very sore thumb from lifting all those heavy weights. It's seriously sprained/strained or something Gonna try wearing gloves tonite and see if that helps as I don't want to be sidelined.

Yes, part of it and another part is completely disgusted that after all this time, I have not lost one pound or one inch and I've been killing myself NOT cheating, NOT missing workouts.

I cannot begin to describe how ticked off, angry I am.

My diet now is so low in carbs (less than 10g per day) that there is no way in the devil's paradise I will not lose weight. There will be nothing for my body to store as fat.

I stopped working out with the shoulder injury and I'm not bothering to re-start until I see some serious inch/pound loss. And I will continue decreasing carbs until I see the number I need to see and the inch loss I need to see.

That's all for today. :l

Sorry for the lack of results. Good luck. Now it's too hot and I hate exercising when it is hot and because of all the rain the mosquitoes are horrible and carry you away.

Well, its the last day of June babes. And a rest day for me. Finished Push circuit yesterday and start Lean tomorrow.

Any words of wisdom from you babes who've done Lean?

And I wonder if we'll have a thread for July ... :-/

I wanna wish all the ladies the best of luck in their goals for their ideal body!

I know you will look hot, cute, and sexy. LOL.

If you have a man in your life, he must be excited. If not, all the men, including myself, will love to see you.

But just remember, be happy with yourselves and the way you are now.

People who are judgmental are not smart people.

Take care and god bless you.

Warmly yours,
Chris

P.S.-If you ladies are offending by me posting here as a ladies only group, if it even is a ladies group, I don't know, I'm sorry, please forgive me. I only wanted the best for you all.
