Kind of, but there is a separate book that goes with AM/PM Callanetics but it's really hard to find. With Callanetics Countdown you do twenty minutes a day for 30 days in a row.

I know a lot of people ask if you can do Callanetics everyday. Here is what Callan says in Callanetics Countdown:

"Please note that these exercises, with their delicate, controlled movements, do not cause the wear and tear that weights, jerking, and high-impact movements used in other kinds of exercise involve. It is therefore perfectly safe to do Callanetics every day. The main thing, however, is to do it, because the more often you do it, the faster you'll see results."

I've found that to be true but if your body feels tired and sore then it's telling you it needs a rest for a day or two.

Thanks Ben! I have read somewhere 'the countdown' is a more like a preface to 10/10. Is it ture? I have just started doing Callanetics. I am at my 8th 10/10 total now. Do you recommend doing countdown first, master it and then get to 10/10?

2/12 hours Completed

After a 14 day break from Callanetics, I did an hour of Evolution on Sunday and an hour of 10/10 tonight. Callanetics feels so great, I dont know why I stopped.

I am going on a 4 day vacation without a gym and taking only Evloution with me, looking forward to doing it 3 days straight. Committed to 12 sessions for April (also doing spinning and Tracey Anderson Mat video).

Thanks for keeping me motivated.

I have a question... I'm doing 10 in 10, but am interested in getting the quicks because I like the idea of splitting the workout up. I believe there are 3 quicks (abs, legs, hips/behind). Over the 3 workouts, are any exercises from 10 in 10 missed out?

Thanks,
Sharon
Hi Shazzer. (LOVE that name!) I have all of the "quicks". They have all of the exercises from 10 10 included plus a lot of the exercises from Super Callanetics. I'm not currently using mine because I'm concentrating on total body, but they are great! I could easily see myself stringing the 3 together to make a fantastic total body workout. (do the warm up with the first one and skip it on the other dvd's)

I started yesterday working on my 10 hours. Does an hour by the clock count? That’s what I thought. Well I tried. I had to rest so much I couldn’t get all of them done so I started doing half the amount. I will do better. I am so excited and I have hope

2 more for me. I am going for 5-6 times per week, with rest as needed, of course. When I go to sleep and wake up just before my alarm, in pretty much the same position - that is nothing short of miraculous! Especially when I am not a morning person, and my morning starts early.

I feel so strong, and the difference in how I look and move is another miracle. I can't wait to see the results at the end of the month!

6/12 of 10 in 10 for me this evening, very happy I did as my friend popped around with bad new's about her cat,so,after 2 gin and tonic's and half a bottle of wine,I really wasn't in the mood, but as soon as she had gone,I drank 2 large glasses of water and jumped straight in to it,feel so much better now as have been lazy over Easter.
My observation's are ,that my thigh's are harder than usual and when I bent down to pick a large amount of peg's up that my pup had decided to decorate the lawn with,I found it easy to pick them up without groaning and moaning, also I keep thinking I am a belly dancer and rolling my stomach around...............OK ,that could be the wine!!!!!
All in all, feel good, still waiting for hubby to comment on my pelvic dip moves, but,he did call me Princess Tippy Toes earlier after watching me do the plies

Off to bed with a cup of tea now

Maria

my booty is kinda achey from all the Callanetics. I think I have finally connected with the "engage the pelvic floor and tilt the pelvis" concept and MAN does it make a difference.

Cardio and upper body day... just wanted to say howdy

Question

Hi

I am engaging my PF more (tho sometimes it is hard!) I can feel this a lot more. However I have had the whole muffin top thing when I first started this. That went. But now I am sure my butt has got higher again (whilst doing the PF) and hips wider.
Is that right!?!?

Thanks

Em

Hi Callanetics peeps! I keep thinking I'm going to check in with you all, but then I get distracted and forget. I've been a Callan fan for the past few years. She really whipped my body into shape, which I did not think was possible without cardio (and I hate cardio). I normally do the 10 in 10 workout, but I'm adding in SC a couple of times a week because I have to get into a bikini in 3 weeks (eek!). But thanks to Callan I can still wear a bikini, even after 3 kids.

I'm going to try to check in with you all, at least for the next few weeks, and hopefully longer if I can remember.

Just finished 10/10 with some added evo exercises, felt sooooo good!

9/12 finished 3 more to go

I just have to say THANK YOU for everybody in the forum again if it wasnt for you I really wouldnt be that motivated by myself! You all are great

I have a question for any of the teachers would like to answer: I realized today doing the behind exercises on the floor if I sort of point my feet from the heel, the muscle feels that it works harder though callan tells us to point the toes (I think).. Will it be bad if I sort of try to pulse from the toe? I hope it makes sense
