I think I would call it Fat burn/Iron cardio training.

I'm doing it on and off with aerobics tapes and other exercises in between to be honest with you. Hopefully I would want to do it forever. LOL.

I do it for fun and motivation.

Thank you so much for your support Jim.

You take care.

Warmly,

Hi Chris,

Still doing good with my exercises to.
Got on the old exercise bike some this morning and also did my leg and arm stretches with the elastic bands.
I do go slow and easy, I have to because of all my arthritis I have. I sure do not want to pull anything and hurt myself.

Hi Mary,

Great to hear about the bike! Good for you! I do yoga sun salutations I saw on TV everyday in the A.M. They are a great 12 position stretch wonderful!

I am doing the fat burn Iron Cardio. For the next 12 weeks. I am considering doing this exclusively and stopping the heavy weight lifting. I am thinking I get a good strength training with my Charles Atlas exercises so I will build sleek instead of bulky muscles. I will keep you up dated.

Cheers,

Jim

Have had company for a week now so I have been so busy with them that I have not had the chance to get to my computer at all.
Just wanted to say that I am still here and will be back tomorrow to chat more.

Hi Mary,

You will be very happy to hear that the 12 week Fat burn and 12 week strength build has a new twist that is slow burn.

We need to look back to Iron Cardio that Ileen and Brian helped us identify. We use slow burn iron cardio and do the 12 week change up for fun and motivation. All we need now is a infomercial guru to put it in a bottle so others can be helped from it. Who care about the million dollars we don't need that all we need is the satisfaction that we helped others.

Let me know how its going and if you are trying to do the change up?

Cheers

Jim

12 Week change up to include Food

Hi Mary,

So we change every 12 weeks for motivation fun and confuse the body. I have blended the strength to be Iron Cario and the fat burn to be strength so we are alway building muscle. I have added food item changes every 12 weeks too. I usually make a few food items that I eat for week or weeks but now I will change every 12 weeks. I am adding food change every 12 weeks.

Let me know if you will be doing this

Cheers

Jim

Jim, so happpy that you are doing so good with Fat Burn and Strength Build.
I am not sure if I can keep up with what you are doing because I have good days and bad days with my arthritis. I just take one day at a time and try not to make to many plans and then not be able to keep them.
I am still doing my daily exercises when-ever possible. Last week I was not doing much because My hip was hurting me real bad from my arthritis. Most times my exercises have been in the pool, it easier on my joints and arthritis. But I still do my elastic band stretches to when I can.

You keep up your great work with the exercising.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the encouragement. We all need motivation even an exercise machine like me. Thanks

Do what you can I just do the 12 week change up for motivation that has worked for years. I am thinking others will join in like RC and so many others from when we first started. I guess some only exercise for a couple of weeks then lose interest. We both know it has to be a WOL. I know others say I am so busy but what does it take to do two toetouches and a stretch each day. I guess we will never know.

The trainer posted about elastic bands. He said to use them slowly to get the most from them. Maybe you might want to post in that thread???

I am looking forward to a 12 week change up soon. Very exciting!

I will let you know. Please keep me updated on your progress.

Cheers,

Jim

I am still using my elastic bands for some of my exercises. Right now I have been taking it easy with my hips and low back. I am doing my water aerobics still to.

Hi Mary,

Nice to hear you are doing so much! Great Job! The way you say water aerobics makes it sound fun like dancing. I hope all is well.

Cheers

Hi Mary,

Nice post I love pool time up in the northeast we only have a short season but in you area you can enjoy the water a lot.

Do what you can for exercise you don't need to get hurt. Work thoughtfully and you will see the gains you want.

Cheers
