Starting my exercise program again...wish me luck!
So it has been a little over three months siunce I had to stop all exercise due to the accident that I was in. I finally feel strong enough (just barely...) to get back to it. Running is out of the question because the leg is still weak; it even tries to give out from time to time. Same with walking, really. So, I am going to have the bike overhauled at the local shop and start riding. The goal is to maybe start riding to work which is 10 miles away. This is a good time of year to start since the serious heat is behind us and the rain has mostly stopped. But I need to build up to it and make sure that I don't have any lingering balance issues. Plus I have yoga once a week at the college. That is really going to help with the strength and the balance.
Anyway, just thought I would share. It feels good to be able to do anything, so I won't complain if it turns out to not be very much at first. ![]()

I absolutely love cycling! Sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad you're getting better and are feeling ready to get some exercise. Good luck!
