I started week 6 of the puc on Sunday. Wow it was intense. I did 40 minutes on the air stepper last night.

Tonight is day 2 week 6 of puc and some sort of exercise. Seem to be stuck with the air stepper as I can do it while I watch tv. Lazy but it works.

Hey Kelley your back. Yeah.

I burned 400 calories on the air stepper last night. That should just about cover the 3 glasses of wine and 6 chocolate cookies and one small tofutti cutie ice cream sandwhich. Or, maybe not.

Tonight day 2, week 6 puc, and hopefully some walking if I get home early enough otherwise the air stepper again.

Sara, great job, I wish I had some machine that I could do while watching television. I don't watch much TV although I have a ton of things TVo ed because I can't sit still that long doing nothing. I would love to exercise then when I don't feel like doing a cardio tape.

No exercise for me this week, I guess I will take it as my week off, didn't plan it that way but since it is already Thursday and I've done nothing ...

Keep up the good work ladies

No exercise last night, except stuffing my face with all kinds of cookies and junk. AHHHHH.

I tried day 2, week 6 of the puc and was not able to finish the max 53 push ups at the end. Will try again tonight. However, I noticed a funny little muscle bump on my tricep that I do not find attractive. I think I may switch to dips to work out the arms instead of the push ups. The final was product was to have toned arms, not funny bumps.

Have a great weekend Push.

Sara, good for you for trying! I put on my workout clothes yesterday but alas no exercise - this was further than I have gotten all week though .

Some of the Hip Hop Abs have push ups in them - sets of ten, I think the most I have ever done is 30 on my knees and not always the way he tells me to do them. The first couple of sets are supposed to be with your elbows/arms close to your body, I just can't do these, my arms have to be spread further apart.

I admire your running and ability to do those push-ups. Weird arm bumps would freak me out too.

I was doing Hunter Peterson's upper body on the ball with weights for awhile but stopped because I really don't need any work on my upper body - it is all lower body work for me. I still work upper body in the HHA's videos but I don't specifically pick a workout for that area. Recently I read on these boards that unless you do few reps/heavy weights you really aren't changing your BMI (I think it was BMI) anyway what they meant was your actually muscle ratio you were just toning? Not sure???

Sorry for the ramble, I really should be vacuuming - my exercise for the day.

Have a great weekend.

PUSH! SARA! KELLEY!

I'm back

I've actually been back in action at the gym for about 5 weeks...loving my trainer and the body bugg program. I am about at the same weight I was when I took my 3 month haitus

Today was push day...shoulders, chest and tris as well as squats and planks...oush but VERY effective in toning midsection! I also did 20 mins on the stair machine with intervals 6/13 and 20 mins on the treadmill running spurts with some walking.

I've bookmarked this page now...looking forward to catching back up with y'all...sounds like we need to get something going here for the 4 of us to stay on track...challenge anyone???

LOVE YOU

Alissa

Wednesday workout!

[COLOR="Red"]GOOD MORNING LADIES!

Sara, Push and Kelley!! I am off to a training session this morning...I'll do the stair mill for 15 mins (intervals 6/13) then run on the treadmill for 15-30 then my weights. Today is "pull" day and my trainer has a new routine to challenge me with. If i have not suggested this before, consider doing planks (you need only do 3 sets of as long as you can last front, left, right)..I am telling you I was amazed at how my core has tightened and I am not doing 8,000 abs! astounding!

How about you lovely ladies?? What is on your plate for your muscles and bones today??

XO

Alissa

Sorry I'm MIA, but I've been having horrible sinus headaches, going to run to the clinic after work today because I was up all night with pain and now I'm comatose and in pain.

Cardio and weights

Stairs, running and shoulders, triceps and chest as well as glutes and quads...I'm a hurting unit today! Hurting in a good way...my left knee is a bit tender, my trainer said I needed to back off running for a few days. When i pick it back up, I may restart the c2k5...just to build up my body's awareness

Off to make grilled halibut with mango salsa and angel hair pasta with asparagus and zucchini for dinner...brents on his way over Also...not diet friendly...but lemon bars for him and the kids for dessert!

xo

Nothing for me this weekend either. I really need to get back into exercising. The kids are off school all week so I may take "me" time and exercise so they don't drive me batty. As good excuse to exercise as any. Sun was shinning today and we got a lot of yard work done, so Yeah for the sun! Later went to the movies, five of us in the IMAX theater $61.00 just to get in - that is crazy. Sorry I know not exercise related but that has blown my mind all day!

Hope everyone has a great Monday.

P40 - I have the perfect plan to help you get back on track - using it myself! Here is the website for the Run Amok Race at Quantico - Sounds difficult, but so much fun!!!!
Run Amuck

and that way we could meet!

Now I know you are crazy! I would love to meet but holy cow this would KILL me! There is no way I am even going to pretend I could or even want to do this. I am not a runner, now sign me up for a Shaun T. convention and I'll consider it even though I would look like an uncoordinated fool

Seriously though, I am glad you are feeling better. I always wondered about the netti-pot but have never tried it. I have year-round allergies since I was pregnant with my first that is easily controlled by floniase. My DH DB both have severe seasonal allergies so I feel for you. Glad you got the antibiotic to move things along. Sinus infections are sooo painful. Hope the kids have been good - they never seem to get it that Mommies have sick days too.

Hello Sara, Hope all is well and your mother's recovery is coming along. My father has had numerous problems including a hip replacement (twice) and knee replacement. He said the knee replacement was the worst by far. I was always the one to take care of my father too, it is tiring and rewarding at the same time. It should get easier this week and you should be able to take some time for yourself. Tell your mom to stay put and take a long hot bath. We are all thinking of you. Take care.

Okay, now exercise talk. I am going down right now to meet up with Shaun T. I don't know what yet but I made him a promise and I am going to keep it. Just hope the kids who are home for a week will let me be for an hour.

Okay, managed to do HHA HBT and TJ fat blaster. Had cramps through TJ because I ate a bunch of junk first! Dumb! I need to get back in the habit of exercising first thing in the morning before doing anything else. More energy and it keeps me from eating! I will do better tomorrow!
