Anyone else have an Eye Toy?
I've been looking at exer-gaming as a way to make fitness more fun, but I can't afford to drop $350 on a wii and wii fit(looks like fun though) and I tried the Yourself! Fitness and found it serioously boring with the same 3 exercises of varying intensities for 30 minutes. We already had a ps2, so I decided the most sensible thing would be the eye toy games. We got the Kinetic and while we've only had it a few days, it is a lot of fun, especially the mini-games. And it only cost $20 for the game and camera and the other used games are really reasonable at the local game stores ($2.99-$9.99).Anyway, does anyone else on here play any eyetoy games?

Hi,
I had the original kinetic cd and had a lot of fun with it, until I dropped the command on the ps2 and it scratched the disk - so a word of warning, get the ps on a place where you will not kick it accidentally :-) Now my husband bought me the kinetic total combat, and I am following the program once in a while. A complaint I have though, is that you need a lot of light for it to work reasonably. I have one side of my living room darker than the other, and the motion tracking sucks for the dark side. Also it is only doable during the day, with the lights I have. Other than that I love the kicking and punching, it is very liberating :-) Cheers, F. |
