I read push-ups are the best upper body workout there is. Have you guys seen Kelly Ripa's arms? All she does is push-ups. For MONTHS I was using 10 pound weights working biceps, triceps and NOTHING I did one week of wall push-ups (yes, I am a wimp) and have noticed a slight improvement.

google "wall push-ups" and it will show you the perfect form. I do it every time I go to the rest room...just do 30 right there. Stand about 2-4 feet away from the wall...the further the better, then just start the push-up...they are the best, but obviously you want to work your up up(not using the wall)

I have just noticed in my arms, but like I said , I have only been doing them a week! Do not go by me though!

I did a lot of reading online, that is what convinced me to start the wall push-ups...and Kelly Ripa's arms.

When I was pregnant with my son, I was trying to get some exercise in, and I decided to do wall push ups (since my stomach was so big) and I um... broke the wall. I was so embarrassed!

Be sure to watch the part where she's exercising with Anderson Cooper. He's totally embarrassed to do it and it's pretty funny!

It is funny you mentioned "wall push ups" I was trying to figure out how to do some push ups since I never have been able too and know they are really good.

I decided to "push up" against the wall figuring that it would help build up my strength for the real thing!

I also have been doing them using the rail on my deck but after reading Sandi's post I think I better stop that. I didn't really feel much like I had worked out any certain part until I went to curves yesterday morning and REALLY felt it on the one machine....right above and kinda between them I FELT the burn!~

That's awesome luckylychee!!! I need to start doing the wall pushups every day! I can't handle hardly any floor pushups at all (even the girlie kind) because I am so darn weak in my upper body. But I CAN handle wall pushups! I'm sure if I do enough wall pushups, I'll be able to start handling the ones on the floor much better
