Can I join too? I've been doing WATP for a few months now. Last week I did 8 miles.

This weeks goal will also be 8 miles. I have a ton going on since it's dd's last week of school, and I'm a room mom. I'll be there every day, so I will have to get my workouts done in the evening. I'll also try to measure tomorrow morning.

Yes, to the WATP Challenge. 8 miles is a great goal...but, did you know that our "week" ends on Saturday and begins on Sunday? If you didn't, just walk whatever you want, the rest of this week.

Denise! Sounds like a hectic week for you! Exercising will definitely help you get through, if anything by helping you sleep better at night.

Val and Oakland - KUTGW!

I got my 4 Fast miles in yesterday and only got 1 mile in this morning, that darned DVD player...it doesn't seem to want to work in the morning...definitely time to either steal one from another room or buy a new one!

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the 4-mile Express Super Challenge and the 4 Fast Miles? I know the 4-mile Express has a 15-min 1st Mile, 12-min 2nd Mile, 13 or 14-min 3rd Mile and a 15-min 4th Mile. Is that the same?

The 4 Fast Miles I'm referring to is the newer Walk Slim series. Its 4 miles with speed walking/jogging intervals. It different than the Express Super Challenge.

Completed the 4 Mile Challenge last night. I still think my overall favorite is the Walk Away Your Waistline but I am enjoying switching things up. Thursday I will be doing the Muscle Walk and the jog/walk.

Switching up is great, isn't it? I seem to be cycling Walk Slim- 4 Big Miles, Walk Away Your Waistline, Super Fat Burning, and Denise Austin's Blast Away the Pounds.

I did decide to pull back and exercise once for 4 miles OR twice for 2 miles. I think I need to gradually increase so I can have room to grow with my workouts. I feel antsy without my 6-8 miles a day, but I'll manage.

I agree switching things up is a good thing-you work different sets of muscles for a total body workout. Mon-Wed-Fri I do Callanetics and am going to begin incorporating some exercises with dumbells also, Tue-Thurs-Sat I do WATP. Hopefully this will get rid of "cottage cheese" spots.

Hi, may I join your group? I recently started Atkins 72 (day #10) and I'm holding on. I also begun my own walking challenge. I jog/powerwalk 5 miles, 5 times per week. Today is day 3 (completed a total of 15 miles thus far) and I feel fantastic. I would like to lose 28lbs by my wedding (aug 15) and reach my ultimate goal of 140 by Dec 31st. I lost 67lbs on atkins before, but gained about 50 back Anyho, I could really use yalls support.

I went outside to walk/jog tonight since it's unseasonable cooler this evening. I jogged every other lap and did 2 miles.

Meekness! Sounds like you have a solid plan and definitely attainable goals as well! Congrats on the engagement and for starting again!

Melle - definitely try the walk slim series, I absolutely love it and I think many others do as well.

Nicsweed - you rock - keep going strong!

Skoolmarm - I think you made a good decision about bringing it down a notch, especially for long term success and congrats on the 3 lb loss last week!

Anyone else I missed...KUTGW! Everyone is doing such a great job!

I got my 4 Fast Miles in last night and 2 Really Big Miles in this morning.

It looks like everyone is busy walking. Good job, ladies.

I walked four miles yesterday (outside) but today it's raining so it will be a WATP video day.

We're going camping Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. SOOOOOOOO, I won't be able to post, and I won't be able to do WATP or Jazzercise.

I will do my walks, though...all three days. First thing, when we get to the campground, I'll drive through, and clock the mileage on my car.
Then, first thing every morning, I'll go for my walk. Lots of people walk in the mornings, at campgrounds. So, maybe I'll find a walking buddy,
or two.

I don't know if I've even posted my WATP, this week. I did a mile and a half, on Sunday, Tuesday, and today. Right now, I'm using the "4-mile Super Challenge".

It's just your basic steps...gets faster the second and third miles, and then a "cool down", toward the end of the fourth mile. That's why I need to get some Walk Slim workouts. I think they'd add a little more interest.

I agree-it got a little boring hearing her talk for that long. What is everyone's opinion of the Walk/Jog session? I will be trying that for the first time tonight.
