Hey everyone. I have been horrible last couple days and haven't done WATP. Well I did it Sat. but not yesterday I worked in the yard all day and I still worked up an awesome sweat! And it's already 10:30 and I just got done working so hard in the backyard this morning. So right now WATP is not calling my name hopefully this evening it will. I'm leaving to go visit my parents next Tuesday so I'm trying to get as MUCH done as I can before I go.

Oh, I have been horrible, too! I've had orientation for the new job, and had to go back to fill out more paperwork, and am trying to finish-up the last week at my old job...haven't walked at all. I've got to get started, again. I'm going to pick-up a few things at the store today, and will look for a Walk Slim DVD.

Still don't have the tape, so I am not exactly part of the challenge, but did my hour and twenty minutes and thanks to WATP am doing it everyday instead of only on days that I can walk outside, so thanks for showing me a new way.

Hey ladies! Sorry MIA lately. I'm getting ready to leave for a month to go to my parents. so WATP has not been in use lately. But I've been so busy so I'm sure I'm burnin' the calories. I am taking my WATP to my parents house and will get going on it again! If I don't talk to you though soon I will be back in August sometime!! Keep up the good work ladies!

Did my hour and twenty march with hand weights last night. Felt exhausted at the end so I know I had a good workout. I've been marching with weights when inside to my favorite reality shows. Tonight, The Bachelorette, unless I decide to walk outside.

Hey Everyone!

I'm back! I had a total hyst last week so the last couple weeks were a bit crazy and busy. I'm already feeling wonderful thanks to this woe and I'm ready to start my WATP videos again next week. I'm here to set my weekly goal for 7/6/08...I'm going to start slow and shoot for 6 miles. I still get exhausted pretty quickly but I'm thinking at least 1 mile a day should be fine with 1 day off in between.

Last week I know Melle was getting ready to start her new job so I'm sure she's very busy and skoolmarm, I don't know what happened to her, I PM'd her with no response. I just hope she's doing well.

And nicsweed - I love your stats, you are doing an awesome job! I can't wait to get my full energy back so I can get back into my workouts.

I hope everyone has a great weekend, I'll be back next week to check in.

Here I am! I'm sorry...I've been SO busy with the new job. It's a brand new book store, not even open yet. We're training and then next week we'll be putting up the shelves and stocking them with books...it's crazy, right now. I'm off today and tomorrow, so I've GOT to get some WATP in. Glad you guys are carrying-on, without me.

Well... I did a 30 minute walk on my treadmill, 3463 steps, 1.520 miles, 181 cals burned. That is the first that I've walked in a very long time, except for walking at the hospital when Mom was in ICU, now that she's in rehab I'm not walking as much. when I was running to the hospital every day I got more than enough walking in because the hospital is sooo big and parking is so far way. I'm happy that DH got the treadmill working before he went to Canada to go fishing for 8 days. That gives me a good amount of time to get started on my program.

Melle, I use to do Jazzercise too a long time ago. I loved it but then we had to tighten our spending and I never went back. Now I could probably go but finding the time during the times that they have classes would be difficult.

Hey Everyone!

I walked outside for a mile this morning and then WATP was just calling my name so I ended up doing the 4 Fast Miles w/o any problems! I guess I under estimated my recovery. I also walked 1.5 miles outside yesterday and felt great.

Hello All!

So here's my weekly report. I did so much more than I thought I could this week so I am very impressed.

Total Miles for the week = 15.5
Goal = 6
Weight Loss = -1 lb

Overall extremely happy with everything this week seeing that I'm just 1 1/2 weeks out of surgery.

Next week goal = 15 miles

Have a great weekend!

Meg, I'm drawing a blank where West Chester is, is it close to Springfield??? For some reason it seems like West Chester is in the francise of Weight Watchers that is out of Columbus (so is the Dayton area). Just wondering.

Lisabinil, I hope your migraines let up. My DD25 (soon I will be typing DD26) is having a horrible time with them, she's been under a lot of stress and not sleeping, even one of those by itself will spur a migraine on for her, let alone two of them. I have only had a couple of migraine's in my life, so I feel for you and her. NOT something that I would want to live with.

Waiting for DH to call and say they're within cell distance on their way home from the Canada fishing trip. He usually doesn't call til they get through the border into the U.S. and sometimes, he doesn't call til he's on his way home from his brother's house about a 30 minute drive from here. BUT, I have his car since I had car trouble on Monday and it had to be towed, so I hope that he calls me so that I can go and get him, or he'll be waiting for me when he sees his car gone.

Talk to you all later, gotta go feed my 11 birds, I forgot to feed them today and they've been in the dark all day. Been busy cleaning and running errands, totally forgot about my feathery friends.

Hey ladies! Thought I'd check in really quick while I can. I'm visiting my parents but I have to say I bought my mom the WATP video and she LOVES it and we've been working out to them. Just wanted to stop in really quick and let ya know I haven't stopped doing it yet! Hope everyone is doing great. I won't be back home for a month yet. I don't have time now to check in on everyone I hope all is well~

Okay so I tried the Denise Austin's indoor walking video, I think its blast away the pounds or something like that and well, let me just say, I'm so glad I got it from the library and didn't pay money for it!

I might be biased but I felt that it was difficult to follow and more like an aerobics class because she would group together some (strange) moves and repeat them. Some of her moves didn't seem too safe and quite frankly her "walking" was a bit odd overall. Oh, and she kept saying "your burning the butter", seriously that along with her personality made it so that I couldn't even finish the tape. I think she makes Leslie Sansone seem extremely tame and laid back!

Just thought I'd offer my .02 in case anyone was interested in it and hope I didn't offend anyone that likes the dvd.
