My MIL had heart surgery today, and while we were at the hospital with the family, the school calls and my son needed stitches in his chin, so we drove fast 50 miles to get him and take him to the local hospital to get 8 stitches in his chin. It has been a day.

Amanda,
I hope things calm down for you girl. Blessings for your MIL and son as they recover. Be good to yourself.

Got in a BWO+ and SATI this afternoon with DD and friend-with only a few giggle fits.

for all you working in the contest. Hope you all win!!

Dawn, I have HTFS and HTF. I really haven't done it, though I have heard they are very good. Let us know how you do.

Glad you all enjoyed the pics. I'll be doing that more often, now that I know how. Got to remember, so got to do.

Be good,
Bev

Amanda. I hope both patients heal up quickly. That must have been a stressful afternoon for you.

Bev-great picture! You look fabulous.

I am going into the home stretch here with the challenge. I've been changing things up for the past week and a half and now I'm going to ramp it up over the weekend and then concentrate on BWO+ and floorwork into the finish. And walks. LOL. My stomach ache eased up a bit yesterday and I am grateful. That's really been dragging me down. Sigh.

Looks like it may be a beautiful day in the 'burgh. Y'all have a great Friday!

Dawn, I have HTF and never use weighted shoes. It is an ab killer for sure!

Amanda , so much going on. I hope both your MIL and DS are on the mend soon.

Bev, that's a great gift to give! I couldn't believe the price when I saw it.

Allie, woot! You've been working hard on the contest too, I bet you look fab-U-lous! Are you going to take a day or two off before measuring to get rid of swelling?

Any word on what is going on with your stomach?

I am so happy it's Friday! Coming back to work after a holiday weekend makes for a long week. Maybe I should've actually "rested" over the holiday weekend!

Last night I did BWO+, OIP, & HF's. I keep having an issue with the PBS. When I clasp my hands behind my back and do the pump sequence with neck stretches my left hand gets all tingly and numb. Once PBS is done it goes right back to normal. What am I doing wrong?

Amanda: Hope MIL and DS are doing better. What a day!

Bev: Love all the pics!

Allie: Here's hoping for a beautiful day!

Cheryl: Good luck with the contest, hopefully you'll win! (& Allie too!)

I've decided to try a BWO+ 14 day BC and see how it goes. I figure I owe myself at least 15 minutes a day for my health. I was looking at the t-tapp website in the success stories and a woman inspired me because she lost so much and looked great. AND she was only doing the BWO+!! I think she went from a size 16/18 to a 10 in like 2-3 months ~ WOW! What I wouldn't give to have those results!
Everyone have a wonderful weekend

Hi Everyone!
Just checking in. We're in Oregon, turning to head North again... on the return trip. Just where is the sunshine??!
Weight control has been interesting. I've reached my goal! So scared of the foods, I've erred to eating too little... Oh well!
Have a great week-end!

I am here cheering on all of you

I hope after the contest is over that a thread is kept going to get us back on track on those days we need it.

Bev- I just bought SATI last week and it was not at $10
I am not going to be able to do the HTF/LBC today. I have to run to Springfield at the moment I get a break and can get out of here. But I can do the total workout. I just can't concentrate today on learning new when I know I have to run the minute I can get away. I was so planning it. The next workout that I get to stay home I will.

Amanda- I send well wishes for your MIL and Son to recover nicely and heal well. Maybe the week end will be calmer for you now.

Allie- What floor work are you doing? I hope your stomach ache is a thing of the past, never to return and you start feeling better.

Cheryl- It does look like an AB killer, but that may be a good thing, for me. My problem is my lower stomach and the inside of my knees, I'd like to slim them down flatter!

Gracie- will you let us know how you do with a 14 day BWO+? That would be just the ticket for me on days when I totally lack time. I find when I am rushed I do not concentrate and put my ALL into the workout. My mind is focused on other things.

Debby- You sound like you are having a nice dark vacation. Seriously no sunshine does not make for a joyous trip. The sun is shining in central IL today. We are under tornado watch until 2:00 today so stay away. We have beautiful sunshine then storms just rip through and the sun comes out again.

Have a great week end everyone, (includes those I missed) as I am leaving in the morning to do the last 3:00 a.m. stage show of the season. I can't wait. It will be in Farmington MO. I can't wait because I want this so to be over

Hey y'all! Wow, everyone seems to have checked in this week.

Debby-Oregon, wow, y'all did take a trip. I hope you enjoy the return trip. It is so beautiful out that way. I would love to go to WA for a visit instead of work and explore more.

Gracie-I get the tingles too. I think that is supposed to happen. Michelle?

Dawn- I'm doing a variation of the torso challenge using various floor moves. They include OIP/HF, Awesome legs, diva derriere, cat crossovers and superman move(strange names, yes?) and then OIP/HF again and sometimes the ladybug floormove.

Cheryl- I'm going to finish up on the 9th and measure on the 11th.

My stomach thing seems to be mainly intestinal. Everything seems to churn things up. I'm supposed to stay high fiber so the diverticulitis doesn't come back, but everything is giving me gas and pain and yuck. Suggestions?

Workout for today was the Ladybug standing. Nice little sweatfest 'cause it got warm today. It is a nice feeling having done it.

Amanda...I hope things are settling down and everyone is on the mend. Sending relaxing thoughts your way.

Hey Bev

Evening all,
I find myself in the midst of a bootcamp. I did LB Standing on Weds, then worked out with friend yesterday-BWO+ and SATI. DD came and helped with our church this afternoon, so I got back in time to tapp. Did another LB Standing. Kind of wiped me out. But I feel good. I should be able to tapp through Mon and get a 6 day bootcamp in. Wooohoooo!!

Wow, Allie. I hope things settle down for you soon. That diverticulitis can be quite painful, can't it? Anyway, it doesn't sound nice at all.

Debby, wow! You guys sure like to travel. Hope the sun shines soon.

Waves to all,

Bev

Everyone is mending. I did my workout through runners stretch, then I did some dance stretches. I am closer to getting my splits than ever in my life. Mom and I took the kids to McD's today for after school tradition. Tomorrow I am doing HTFS, I like it, But am trying to stick to the bread and butter of T-Tapp. Q: what muscle do you feel in drop lunges?

Amanda-good to hear things are going well.

drop lunges...hmmm....I feel the inner thigh on forward leg, butt cheek, hams and calf on back leg, with quads tight on back leg. Does that sound about right? rememeber the alignment is hip width and not like on a balance beam and don't let the back heel turn out. You lose the intensity when that happens.

It's storming this morning. We were actually under a tornado watch. Good thing there wasn't one 'cause we were all asleep. Looks like rain for the day. I should be able to accomplish some homework and my workout after all the crazy running around stuff of a typical Saturday.

Gracie, that tingling is normal. It scared me too when it first happened, but that is the neuro-kinetic flow. I thought I had pinched something too.

Debby, congrats on reaching your goal weight, but don't be afraid of food. That's an unhealthy mindset. Remember, it's about inches, not the scale.

Dawn, no worries, this thread will continue after the contest. We all need support outside of the contest and that has been the main thrust of this thread since before I got here.

Amanda, glad to hear everyone is on the mend. A split? I have always wanted to be able to do one. is it just a matter of stretching and keep trying?

Allie, glad to hear the storms didn't get ya! I'm expecting them to hit us later this afternoon.

Bev, careful with those bootcamps. If you are still losing, a bootcamp really isn't necessary and may be counter productive. BCs are more to shock your body into losing again. It would stink to let your body get used to those shocks and a bc won't work for ya when you need it.

DS has soccer games both days this weekend. We also caught him in yet another lie and he took something that he shouldn't have. Not sure how to follow up on punishment, he's lost all of his privileges already... suggestions? (he's 11)

Cheryl-

He's lost all priveleges and still acting up? Darn kid. Hmmmmm. There are work it off chores, there's the old coffee/tea with Mom to discuss life and this newly developed stubborn streak, there's good old-fashioned beatings....LOL

Mine usually started towing the line when nintendo or computer was yanked. There's also running laps. My middle school gym teachers method of choice. Started my cross country career because I was always in the "bad" class.

Good luck. Kids can be a challenge(understatement)

Evenin' all!

Cheryl, you need the wisdom of Solomon to raise kids. He's a strong willed one that way it sounds. And not even a teenager yet. Do your best. That's all you can do. At least you know WE are on your side.

Yea, bootcamps. I hear ya, Cheryl. I am going to do this one. I really like what LB is doing for my hormonies. Then that will be it for a long while. The last one was 6 weeks ago. I've only done three so far. Got in another LB Standing this afternoon.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Happy Sunday y'all.

I'm getting ready to wake up the family. The Bishop will be at church today to bring the congregation up to date on all the doin's in the Episcopal Church. The presiding bishop aims to depose him so we have some praying to do from now until November. My kids made him a welcome sign and I took a lot of pictures to attach to it. We had a blast doing it.

My boys went to a bonfire last night. One of the older one's hs buddies graduates this week. They got in late so I'm thinking they had a good time. My younger boy will be 16 on Tuesday. I bought the coolest frame for his cake. I'm going to put a 1st birthday picture on top with the candles. Well, I think it's cool anyway. LOL

My crazy daughter was up until 3:30 mounting her book pages on poster board. Oy! She wrote a book for the kids in the nursery. She should have mounted it last night instead of playing on the puter. She may be cranky this morning....

Well, I've written a book myself. Have a great one!

Tempo 8 tonight. Yowza! I needed that. It helped defray the impact of birthday cake for number 2 son. We celebrated his 16th today. His b-day is the 3rd. I'm going clean starting tomorrow so it was good to savor his day today. Sigh. The time...it flies so quickly....

Thanks for the encouragement girls! I made him clean his room top to bottom, refold all his clothes in his drawers, he's lost ALL TV privileges. Next, I have to start rationing his food...lol (can't, he's 75 pounds soaking wet...) He feels awful and just wants to make mom happy. Oh, and for the 'throwing a full bag of pretzels behind the garden', he had to write to letters of apology to our neighbors and hand deliver it. I think he 'got' that message. We'll see how long the angel lasts. The worst part is that he is the sweetest kid.

Bev, good luck on your BC! How many days are you going for?

Allie, your kids sound nuts! (I like it) Bonfires are fun too. I remember them. Happy Bday to your DS!

Tonight will be LB Standing. I did well over the weekend with eating, not perfect, but well. TOM is due tomorrow so I'm cutting myself some slack.

The great thing is we had GORGEOUS weather all weekend. I SO enjoyed it!

Oh, and braces go on DS tomorrow. I will silently cry as I see my Safety Harbor money being put onto his teeth...LOL

10 more days!

Good morning ladies! Another weekend flies by We had 2 baseball games, 1 tee-ball game, a 40th surprise birthday party and a wedding shower! Good grief! And in between all of that we had one person look at our house Saturday and two yesterday. Still no offers though Oh well, when it's meant to happen it will. Tonight I have to take DD to tee-ball game and then I want to get BWO+ done before bed.

Cheryl: My DS will be 9 on Friday and what always works for him is I take away either his playstation or his roller blades. He simply can't survive without them! It sounds like he's feelin' bad for what he did and I guess everyone's entitled to a bad day every once in a while! Thanks for clearing up the "tingling" being neurokinetic flow. I still don't totally understand but at least I know it's "normal".

Allie: BEAUTIFUL day today......and I have to spend it at work! We're supposed to go to the Pirate game tomorrow night so I'm hoping the weather stays nice.

Bev: God bless you on the bootcamps! I'm always struggling for time to just get in a workout. I wanted to do the BWO+ bootcamp for 14 days and the weekend got in my way! I'm going to try again this week

To everyone else!!!!!

Hey, to all you gorgeous ladies!!

Cheryl and Gracie, today is my last day that I will have time for bootcamp. That's why I jumped on it when I did, it's so hard to work one in with my schedule. This will be a 6 day bootcamp. Then that's it for a while. Life will be just tooooooooo crazy.

Cheryl, it sounds like you found the ticket. Remorse is a bea-u-ti-ful thing!!
And an excellent sign.

Man, Gracie, your weekends are totally out of this world busy. Enjoy your Pirates game.

Allie, you are an exercise machine on wheels. Look at you go!! The rest of us are shaking off the dust as you speed by.

MIchelle, I have a question on LB Standing Plies. When I do the advanced chest presses, the going down deep has me a bit - I just can't do it. I loose my tuck. Any pointers?? Please?? I'm real afraid I'm going to have to do them s l o w l y.

Hey to everybody else.

Bev

TDid the total threw hd today with dd. She kepts saying, "She;s evil!!!" over and over. I am giving her a cheer boot camp all summer, cause she wants to be on the studios cheer team, and compete. She needs to have her splits. Yes, splits is just flexibility and prcatice and arm strength to keep you from going to far too soon. I am sooo close. The runners stretch I know has helped alot. I ordered the pg and immune boost weekend special. I am excited.

Amanda-there are times when you T does seem evil. Good luck with your dd's training. I hope she makes her goal.

I did BWO+ and SATI today after work. Very nice combination. My buns are sore right now.

How did everyone's Monday shape up? 1st work day for me, but pretty laid back. Not bad.

Hola ladies! Thanks for all the support with DS. I'm sure this will pass, but it's gonna drive me nuts...lol

Bev, congrats on doing 6 days of a bootcamp. I've made it to 7 ONCE.

Allie, sore buns are good. I'm due for SATI tonight. Did LB Standing last night.

Amanda, so cool you gave your DD a cheer bootcamp for the summer. Sounds fun!

Gracie, I'm tired just reading your post!

Drive by, hard to keep up with all of you. Wish I was anyone but myself these days.

Park Water Co. was gigged for not having written plans/manuals. Think next time we will hire someone to do this, I rather be boating or T-Tapping.

Have to send Operations and Maintenance Manual, Preventative Maintenance Program and PM logs to the feds and the clock is ticking! I want to get an A+.
Almost done, I am driving the water plant operator crazy!

The only thing I exercised since vacation is my fingers typing! Not eating/sleeping with all this stress....... Lost 3 lbs!

Enough whining....I have missed you all!...........Want to get back to normal if there is such a thing!
Bev great pic! Cheryl my son loved being grounded, loved being with adults had to "punish" him by making him call friends or socialize! Think he had me whipped! He is now 27, we laugh at it now, wasn't funny then!

Tomorrow, back to basics, 4 day BC for me.

Last T-Tapp thrust before June 11!
