Thanks Michelle, my email said it would be released the end of May, so we will see. I did lose 3 in. But not where I wanted. But I figured the main losses would be in a couple months. So it's all good.

Denise, way to go on the inch loss. It does come with perseverance, we just gotta keep going. Glad you are safe from the tornados!

SilverOrchid. Yep, AL and DD are very effective exercises. My quads just scream when doing AL, not to mention my abs.

to all the other Tappers!

Hey y'all,

I took another rest day on Monday and watched a couple of movies with Mike. I do feel better about everything and the sun came out today to top it all off. It was honking cold and wet yesterday. DH even put the heat on when he got up this morning...

I took a vacaday today and am going to do a long workout, get started on school stuff for the week and cook a nice meal for the chitlins at Kidzlife. We are on the last two weeks and I am looking forward to the break on Tuesday night.

I'm thinking of Lady bug combo with some DD and AL.

Denise-I think you will like DD for the effect on the tush. It does workout the old glutes intensly and you will start to see a difference in the lift.

Cheryl! You feeling any better? I saw your pics. You should be pleased.

Hey everyone! After a long weekend I'm back. The zoo trip was fun yesterday. I was totally exhausted by the time we got home.....a full busload of pre-schoolers is crazy!!!!

I hate to admit it but I dropped out of the contest due to some crazy female issues going on. I went to see an endocrinologist last week and I am going through testing right now. My TOM cycles have been very irregular and I got it on Sunday so I was moody, bloated, and crampy and decided I couldn't handle pictures right then. I plan on continuing on my own. I will measure as soon as TOM is gone. I have to go at the end of the week for some kind of Sonohysterogram ultrasound. I'm a little nervous because I heard that it is an uncomfortable procedure. I'm hoping they'll figure out what is going on.

Congrats to everyone else in the contest and I hope you all had a great mother's day!!!

I wish I could get back into T-Tapp. I bought the entire kit-n-kaboodle a year or two ago, started slowly, but started noticing a really REALLY sharp pain running up the outside of my left knee. So I emailed the T-Tapp place, and they said that that shouldn't be, and perhaps I wasn't holding my stance correctly, so I called them and talked to a girl that ASSURED me that Teresa herself would call me and find out what the problem was. Never heard a word again. Called again, got the same response. She would call me back. Again, not a word.

Signed up on the T-Tapp forum, and had some trainers who volunteered to help, but I had to PAY them to see me and check my form, or to review a video of me performing the exercise that caused me so much pain. Besides that, I was promised TWICE that Teresa would contact me. Why would I want to pay someone else who isn't the FOUNDER of these patented moves to analyze me?!

I dunno. Sorry to be such a bummer. But even thinking about this now works me into tears, quite literally.

Well, I am not sure, how many other founders would be available to call either. Teresa is VERY busy and can't personally call everyone who wants her to. But that being said you should have never been told that she would call you back if that would not be followed through on. As far as the trainers, everyone of the senior trainers have passed certain requirements to be able to analyze form via video or webcam. This service can not be expected to be offered for free. However I do know I have offered this to some people. I would be happy to work with you if you want to video yourself doing Inst 1, no charge as a gesture of good will on behalf of T-Tapp. You can PM me for more information on where to send the video for analysis if you choose to do this.

Sorry to hear you had such a rough time, I can say that this is not the norm, I used to be on the boards on the t-tapp forum and Teresa was always good about responding and the few times I called for some reason someone got back to me farly quickly.. Teresa herself responded in email herself once.. Im sure there was a lack of communication somewhere on the part of whoever took the call.. I cant even imagine what Teresas schedule must be like!

Monica thats an awesome offer to help

Many thanks for the responses!

Monica, I do agree that the people I talked to really shouldn't have made such a promise to me. Sorry to sound like such a whineybutt. It's just that at the time, I was working the inst.1 and was finding it increasingly frustrating that I had shelled out so much money, and was being asked to shell out more just to get some relief from the stabbing pain on the outside of my knee. I had my DO check out my knee just to be on the safe side, and he said everything was fine, and that I probably should take up jogging instead (!)

Other than the knee thing, I AM a big fan of the program. I love the snapcrackly pop from doing the side twists (I'm somewhat of a long torso/short leg person, so those moves really get the sore spots in my back!), and the hoedowns are real buttkickers for me, too.

Monica, thank you for your offer, you are very kind. I'll have to dig out my video camera, as I've since moved and it's packed away somewhere. When I locate it, I'll work on the routines again and get someone to tape me, who knows? Maybe it won't hurt me now that I've lost some pounds since that period in time. Maybe I was just too heavy at the time, and my knees just couldn't bear up under the pressure.

Again, I'm sorry to be such a downer, and I really should figure out the problem instead of sitting down and crying about it out of frustration. Thanks for reading.

Vox-Michelle is a great trainer and that is a great offer. Hope you find your camera soon. I take her class and she has helped me soooo much.

Gracie-are they doing the ultrasound of your feminine parts? That's what I had when all my stuff went haywire. It's not too bad as ultrasounds go. Good luck with all your tests and such. Send me a pm if you want to compare notes.

Okay y'all. I was going to do LB combo and changed my mind at the last minute and went with Tempo 10 Oy! The pause button was very helpful. I have done a t-tapp workout since Friday and so I was pumping a lot of junk. I felt sick a couple of times. But...I made it through and followed it up with some awesome floorwork. Then I took a shower. LOL. I needed it.

Getting ready to take off for Kidzlife. Have a great one.

Michelle...see you tomorrow.

Morning girls! Feeling better after a few days off. My extra water weight is coming off. I've been sleeping like a madwoman and the crankies are going away.

V0x, glad you are going to give tapping another try. It is such a great program and the trainers are phenomenal. I'd take Michelle up on her offer in a heartbeat! Working with a trainer, even virtually, is priceless. A half inch change in body posture could change your whole workout.

Gracie , I'm sorry about your health issues and that you are dropping out of the contest. I've had that test too and I took a little Motrin beforehand and I had minimal cramping afterward, that's all. I hope they find out what is up.

SilverOrchid, congrats on getting day 2 of AL/DD in! I bet your muscles are singing!

Allie, I love those down days too with a movie and a blankie. and just in YOUR style, you jump right back into it. That's why I lubs ya!

(((((Cheryl)))))) you are so sweet!

I'm at work and would rather be anywhere else this week. Do y'all ever have those weeks? It will pass I'm sure.

It is pretty dang cold here again today and it looks like rain. Oy! What's up with that? I guess I'll have to snuggle on the couch with DH after class and a shower. LOL. Class gets pretty intense.

Hey Michelle. Tempo 10 is crazy hard.

Hey everybody Hope everyone is having a good one.

everyone!!

Hey, Allie, did they ever replace that boss at work? Hows that doing? I know you had some issues with one they were considering. I love those nights when you can snuggle on the couch with DH.. However, we both have to be home for that. DH is a drama practice for VBS this summer. He's in charge of the drama.

WE HAVE A WEDDING THIS WEEKEND!!! Pretty much everything is ready, I think. I don't know as they are doing all the planning etc themselves.

Hey, Cheryl, be sure you get enough sleep. You know we don't want to see those crankies!! I got the Broom yesterday in the mail. Haven't looked at it. Probably won't till after the wedding. It sounds really good in the pamphlet they sent with it though.

Gracie, so sorry to hear of your health concerns. Hope things get sorted out without much trouble. Good for you for keeping doing for the challenge even if you had to drop out. You will get the tapping benefits.

Silverorchid, hang in there. We tappers love to beat ourselves up. AL and DD are awesome!!

Vox, Michelle is great!! She'll help you figure things out.

Hey, Michelle!! I was reading in the t=tapp forum where you talked about a certain gal getting rid of 3" of hip pads in one month with TTT/double dips. So every night before I go to bed, I am doing the LB TTT/double dips after my nightly PBS. That is what I noticed right after my LB bootcamp. My hip pads had diminished. I want to get RID of them. I'll let you know.

Tomorrow I will get some more tapping in and that will be it till after the wedding.

Be good,
Bev

Hey y'all,
Class was great last night. Michelle tweaked my form a lot ( in other words, she picked on me ) Very cool tweaks.

Biggest tweak. In PBS, the leg that is not straightening stays very bent. You will feel that one instantly. I'm sure Michelle will clarify if you ask.

I woke up feeling pretty icky. I'm hoping it passes, but I'm going to Weirton today so it will be a good day, especially if I milk it. LOL

Y'all have a great one.

Bev. Mazol tov for the newly weds!
To answer your question...it was a done deal from the get-go 'cause they eliminated the guys position at corporate. He is the controller alongside my boss until my boss retires as of Aug 31st. How freaky is that? I'm going to make the best of it until I finish my degree. I have the whole office on the prayer chain so that things will stay real.

OOOOOOOO, Michelle,
I have a question on that PBS thingy-keeping opposite knee very bent. When I do a regular PBS, I lift the other heel to keep things from going cockeyed. But in LB it's a little harder, cause you have to lift the front of one foot, while lifting the opposite heel. Your tweak will make it harder. So, how do you keep from going cockeyed?? Is there anything special, or do I just keep practicing.

Allie, you are SO lucky!! (to have Michelle). Consider me on that prayer chain. Remember, we are all on your side.

Have a great day,
Bev

Allie, I have those weeks ALL THE TIME. They pass, but they come back... LOL Hope you feel mo' bettah today.

Bev, wow! I can't believe that Wedding #1 is here already. Is DS ready? Getting nervous? DD must be going nuts too, in her own way. Congrats on getting your hip pads to go down. I haven't hit that secret yet.

I've started working with Michelle via email and she had me do SATI last night. I have only done it once with the video. I forgot what a great workout that is. My lats and back muscles are yelling at me today. I really concentrated on those arm movements. SO much going on during that workout. It reminded me of that broom workout that is now on video. I was sweatin lots!

Hi girls! I'm still keeping up with the tapping and walking. I plan on measuring this weekend once TOM is totally gone. I am scheduled for the sonogram test this Wednesday and the nurse told me that it's not painful but I may have some cramping afterward. So I have to take 800 mg of Advil and an antibiotic beforehand. I guess they're just checking to see if everything is in working order. You see, my DH and I decided in December to "try" for child numero 3. The first 2 times it happened pretty much immediately. This time around it's not so simple. My cycle is screwy and irregular. So, in comes the endocrinologist. I think my ob/gyn was concerned because of my age, I turned 36 yesterday. Happy Birthday to me! Anyways, we're going to keep trying and hopefully we'll hit the jackpot again! (My last child was actually conceived in Vegas!) Sorry to threadjack but I just wanted to explain why I couldn't finish the challenge.

Everyone keep up the great work, you're all so inspiring!

Hello ladies, quick check in, my day started crazy and has not gotten any better! Oh vey!

Bev, you would not want to lift the opposite heel when doing LB, I very rarely teach that tweak. (ask Allie, Have I ever? Can't remember) anywho... Going to your max is not about straightening your leg...it is about straightening your leg to YOUR max, while keeping the knee pressed KLT. To help prevent the hips from shifting, think tailbone to ceiling (Full extension, think tailbone wants to touch the ceiling, then tighten the glutes to hold 'er steady)

Allie - Hey girl! Here is what Allie was talking about.. When doing PBS and you are in a flat back going to straighten your leg, Allie was practically straightening both legs, the leg that is not straightening needs to remain bent and KLT.

v0xhumana - let me know when you are ready!

Catz- waving to you even though you forgot me on beer night! Dunno why though.

SillverOrchid - Whoo Hoo for an AL,DD bootcamp! Makes you *hurt* so good!

K- and I am off and running again!

Morning all,
Slept good last night. Only got up once and that was 5:15. Didn't get back to sleep. Catching up on the tapping forums.

Gracie, gal!! Hope you had a great day!! No worrys about the threadjack. We are all friends and interested in each others lives. I love this thread and all you people on it. Maybe I should be careful how early I post.

Allie, how much longer do you have to go to get your degree finished?

Michelle, that tip really helps solidifying my form when doing the PBS. Makes it real solid. THANKS!!

Did not get tapping in yesterday other than PBS and LB TTT/double dips at bedtime. DS (youngest, not the wedding one) had inner ear infection. He woke up early with ear ache, did not wake me, spent 10 blowing his nose vigorously to clear one nostril. When I got up he was in tears from the pain. We put heat on it and then onion drops, had him drink water with sea salt in it. By mid morning the pain was gone and by evening the dizziness was gone. He gets to go to school today. He's been out all week with a cold.

Gotta run on my day. Have a good one,
Bev

Gracie.... You are a brave one. Hope everything checks out just fine. Good luck and great fun in your endeavor.

Bev- If all goes according to schedule, I will finish up in March of 2010. DS #2 and I will graduate together, pretty much. That would be fun. Glad your son is on the mend. Mine are getting hit with allergies right now. It's pollen season around here. The green stuff is flying. I've got a headache and hope that the meds I took kick in soon. Oy!

Kristy...KUTGW!

Hey Michelle. My friend has been watching all the MORE instructionals and doing some of them. She is having some A-HA moments all over the place and is excited about the possibilities. The tip about getting out of a chair was tremendous. Kudos to T-Tapp. (she has a crippled hip for those who don't know about her)

TGIF ladies. Enjoy your day!

Gracie,!!! I wouldn't worry too much about the sonogram. I had only mild cramping afterward. It wasn't much worse than period cramping and only for a couple of hours. I hope they find out what is going on. It took me a year to conceive and I got PG almost immediately after the sonogram. I think they 'cleaned out my tubes' and opened them up.

Mich, now, now, I didn't forget you. I drank one in your honor. I still have a few left... Comin over?

Bev, I bet some of that sleeplessness is excitement! I hope you sleep tonight so you can enjoy the big day tomorrow!!!!

SilverOrchid, DH won't think you are so nuts when you get booty-licious!

I ordered my Broom workout yesterday. Gosh, I cannot wait until after June 11 so I can try it!

I did SATI yesterday. I can't believe that workout gets my hips aching (in a good way). All that tucking pays off!

LB Combo tonight!
