Unfortunately, I don't have the time in the morning...so, its usually in the early evening. I have the following:

1. Muscle Mile One
2. Short Cuts - Upper & Lower Body Workout
3. Walk Away The Pounds Ab Buster
4. Walk Away The Pounds Express 1 mile easy walk, 1 mile brisk walk
5. Walk Away The Pounds for Abs Get up & get started & high calorie burn
6. 5 mile walk at home
7. walk Away The Pounds Walk & Kick
8. Walk Slim

I use the Walk Away resistance belt...the hand weights...and the stretchie with some of these dvd's.

Its a great program & I really like Leslie Sansone!

I my WATP videos!

I have a couple of 3 mile DVD's (where you can pick 1-2-or 3 miles) and I have the 5 mile advanced.

I typically do 2 miles in the morning and 2-3 in the afternoon. In the afternoon I tend to pump it up a little by carrying 5 lb weights for the entire walk or I put a little extra hand/arm movements in. I think its really simple to mix it up; in the morning I'm not that coordinated so I just follow along. If I choose to do it on the weekends I'll typically do a 5 mile one.

The 5 mile one is nice because it gives more options to mix it up and you can choose to mute her voice and only listen to the music. I love Leslie Sansone but you get tired really quick of the same conversations over and over! And this one also starts out at a faster pace so if you don't feel like you need to warm up its great (in the afternoon's my body's already ready to go).

Good Luck - I'm sure you end up loving them like so many people do.

this might be a silly question, but what equipment do you need for that dvd? like are you supposed to have a treadmill?

I actually really like the WATP DVD's. They're very good for beginners especially. I have the 5 mile walk on my computer that I did before I started doing Turbo Jam again and I would do 3-4 miles a day. But now they're just not as challenging anymore.

Although a few times a week I will do the walk/jog but I do mostly jogging and I'll jog in a circle in my living room, so it gets a better effect than just jogging in place. It also helps get me ready for whenever I decide to start jogging outside.

No treadmill, just some open floor space. Most of the moves are done "in place" (i.e. walking or marching, knee lifts, side steps, and front kicks). I have about a 6'x6' space in my extra room that I carved out so I could do this. Some of the dvd's come with weights or bands but I typically use my own 5 or 8lb hand weights.

This is a really good one by Leslie. She lets Mary Kay instruct one of the miles. Mary Kay does a great job with variety and intensity. The set of this workout looks much better than Leslie's Walk Slim set which is dark.

Good purchase enjoy!!!

I used to do them when they first came out. After a couple of months, I developed some pretty bad knee issues which I attributed to the marching up and down. It isn't a walk, its a march. I was a lot heavier then which could have been a factor. I probably wouldn't do them again.

I have the Walk Away The Pounds Advanced Walk 3 miles and let me tell you, by the end of the 2nd mile I am sweating like crazy. I like it. I don't do it everyday. Usually once a week. I try to do something different everyday.

I think it is a great walking workout. Especially if you really get into the moves. I did get some twinges in my knee if I wasn't careful doing the side step moves though.

I just got the new 4 mile walk slime with the resistance band....I find it so much more of a "real" workout than the other walk workouts, a much faster walk, in that one of the miles is 10 minutes, one 12...and the music is so much better (not great, but much better) than the other tapes.

The 4 Mile Walk Slim has alot of intensity including jogging. The only thing I don't like about it is the dark set. I wish Leslie would film outdoors as does Debbie Rocker.

I have the WATP Walk Away Your Waistline-really like it. You get a good fast paced 3 mile workout with a resistance band.
