Also I have not been doing Callan as much as before. The past 2 weeks I have been doing it around 3x a week but boy it seems like its getting harder. When I was doing it 5x a week it seemed pretty simple. But now it seems like my muscles have to work 2x as harder when I do it less. Does anyone experiance this? Should I go back to 5x a week?
Yup, expect most of them are modified so anyone can do it, it's quite good!

When you do the leg exercises do you do it more of like a squat or do you let your knees go out to the side?

Below is a picture of me a couple of years ago in Death Valley. I love showing off my Callanetics flexibility
You described him doing that exercise like you were there! That is so helpful. Thank you.

Very impressive split.

So if Callanetics can accomplish all this, when do we start getting our lycra costumes and secret world saving missions from headquarters?

Just finished the Cardio Callanetics and Callanetics Toning back to back. Fairly easy, but effective 1-hour workout on the 'off' days.

This was a first. Wanted to share.

Lying in the floor the other night, I strapped on ankle weights to see how many reps I could make it through on the lying/sitting on the floor/leg section (bent knee and straight). Needless to say, with attention to form, I did not make it through all 400.

WHAT. A. CHALLENGE.

Wanted to see how it might help confuse my muscles.

Due for another Super tomorrow.

Cardio today.

1 Hours Super Callanetics , Oh la la!!! not easy but done it, a little bit difficulties at the end of stomac exercices but more with the pelvis exercices, couldn't do all of them, I always have the feeling that I am not doing it correctly, at least I try. I am so truly happy, this is a great Callan DVD, verry challanging but can feel my muscle working hard. It's so worth it!!!

JMO, you really got to be ready to fully take on Super C. Your form should be perfect, and 10/10 no longer challenging anymore when you do it.
Super C has sooo many benefits when your body/muscles are ready for it.
Something to think it.

So hope some1 can help me, were my muscles shaking because they were being worked deeper? i checked my form and it was fine and i done the tape when i woke up so i wasnt tired so its the only thing i can think of

Today I'm hoping to do callanetics later tonight, but yesterday I did 1hr each of TaeBo and spinning... my body doesn't want to move at all today.

Have to ride my bike downtown this afternoon, so there's at least a 45min ride.

I wanna do callanetics..........waah. lol!

No kidding! Thanks for the heads up.

I'm a daredevil at heart, it seems! Appreciate the warning.

Guess that's why it pays to have the book, huh?

I completed my 11th hour of 10 in 10 last night. I can't believe how flexible I am becoming. I'm really starting to notice a difference in the way my clothes are fitting me even though I've only lost a few pounds since I started Callanetics. Bra fat is melting, stomach is shrinking, the thighs aren't budging yet - but I have high hopes (THANKS TWYLA)

IW,

That flexibility alone is worth its weight in gold. You will find that coming in handy in life's every day challenges, not to mention your improved flexiblity with other workouts.

Glad to see it's workin for ya --------- 'cause you're WORKIN' IT!!!

Well, I´m no expert it was Callan who said it can be risky for women to use ankle weights... but check with one of the experts on this board, they should know.

Twyla, I wanna see more pics of you...! You are such an inspiration with your unbelivable energy and postive attitude. I can half see your upper body in your avatar but do you have any more pics to show us?

Myself I´m feeling really tired and aching today, I´ll do my Callan tomorrow

My official review of Super Callanetics . . .

Way too many hip & thigh exercises . . . way . . . way . . . way . . . Does anyone know why there are soooo many? Are there different parts of the hip/thigh that each of those exercises work? Do we know which part of the hip/thigh is worked in each exercise?

The Open & Close exercise is killer. I was only able to do 2 sets of 5.

I was able to do most (not all) of the reps in each of the exercises except the Open & Close and I skipped some of the hip & thigh exercises. I’m sure my form wasn’t great as it was the 1st time through these exercises.

I loved the new stomach exercises, as this is my trouble spot.

What I did love about Super was hearing all the extra little tips on the same exercises that are done in 10/10.

Because that many hips & behind WILL lift & shape your behind! HAHA
Yup, Super C is tough no 2 ways about it.
