so I tried it this morning at like 5:30am I was up at the crack of dawn. I got like 5 minutes into it and my husband woke up asking WTH I was doing, and Asking why I was making so much noise.
I felt bad, and also I live in an apt building on the 3rd floor and I dont want to wake my neighbors, so I will do it later when I get home from work. BUT LET ME TELL YOU! I felt a heck of a burn just from 5 minutes! I'm deff out of shape!
I hope I can do more later!

Barb, It's on Exercise TV if you have on demand, but you can also buy it. It's fantastic! A walk out pushup is where you start from a standing position, and walk out with your arms into a pushup. It's on level 2

H2O goddess I want your arms!

Our Luvs from above-I live in an apt building too, and it does make a lot of noise. I don't have a good relationship with the neighbor below (long story, but she's a real b*$ch and has been from day 1 despite my attempts to be a good neighbor) so I don't really care. Maybe you could talk to you your neighbor?

Gotta go, off to do Shred level 2!

Im not going to bother her, I have never really met her.
From now on if im going to work out first thing in the morning im going to just go for walk/jog outside.
and if I am going to do the shred I'll do it in the evening when I get home from work..
I believe in apt life 9am-10pm monday - friday is like noise time.. and weekends like 10am-11pm is noise making time lol

OK I just did a google and the video is really reasonable and available quite a few places.
I just am not able to do any of those moves yet. A couple more months. It's definitely on my "wish" list. Thanks!

Yup, totally agree. If you live in an apt. you have to expect noise (at reasonable hrs of course!)

Oh, I also wanted to add that I weigh 220 lbs and started it when I weighed 230 lbs. I'm not some fit skinny minny like H2O goddess (as you can see from my stats) so anyone who is out there, don't let your weight stop you from doing it!

I am in an apartment too but luckily I am on the first level and there is no one below me. I can do all the jumping jacks and skipping ropes I please and no one will complain.

hello i am quite interested in this dvd as its got good reviews but can someone who has a bit of spare time run me through what exercises are in the dvd levels like is it just squats and lunges ect thank you is it boring after a while or do you still enjoy it

I've been doing this dvd along with callanetics, do you think I should add more cardio? I'm really looking for something with cardio and strength exercises and this fits the bill but it's only twenty something minutes long . . . shouldn't we perform more/additional cardio?

I've only done level 2 a couple of times but you'll find jumping jacks, high knees running in place, lunges, ab work, and some complicated compound exercises that include walk out pushups, jumping jack planks, etc . . . HTH.

They might have a clip if you go to colagevideo.com I can't check for you because work has blocked that site

Level 3 is KILLER! On my third day of it and I'm sorer than I remember being during the first few days of levels 1 and 2. My abs especially, are sore. I think it's from the superman ab exercises. Feeling great though and seeing excellent results almost at day 30. Only eight more days to go.

I am definitely noticing changes and people have made comments, but I'm not dropping anywhere close to 20 lbs. I also have much more to lose (about 60-70 lbs), so any muscle definition is for the most part still under my fat. But it's working, I'm still on level 2 and don't think I'll be ready to move up for a while as I still find it HARD.

But, I don't do it every day. I think I do it between 3-4 days a week. It's consistent, but not everyday.

I feel more fit and I know I'm stronger. That's enough for me, the lbs will work themselves out if I keep eating decently and working out (especially with Shred)
