Day 6 - Done! I increased to 5# yesterday. I am feeling it. Pants are much looser. My waist is down an inch. I am a happy camper. Still cannot do full pushups, doing the girlie variety, but hopefully that will change in the next few days.

Uh oh....hope that this thread hasn't died off, it's been a while since anybody posted!

Great thread and great results! I have been doing a live boot camp this month, which has been way more intense than I bargained for. This is the last week but the last two days were cancelled due to weather (we meet on the beach), so I tried SHRED today. It's a great workout esp for the amount of time and I really like her attitude--I like to grunt when I'm working out, and have a low tolerance for perky squealing instructors (or those who even have perky potential).

I did level 1 with 1.5 kilo weights. The cardio and abs were no problem but I found the arms really hard, especially the last circuit when doing the side lunges--ouch. I know that my arms are weak--is it really ok to do this every day though? I thought you were supposed to take a day off between weight training.

Oh...also wanted to ask those of you who have gotten such great results...what other exercise (if any) have you done while shredding the inches?

Also, what do you think of JM's other videos? On Collage they seem like the others have very mixed reviews...

Is anyone still doing this? I just added it to my workout routine as I felt I needed more cardio and more arm work, and I'm already seeing more definition in my arms after 2 times.

I love this workout!

I am on day 10 of workout 2. I use 3.3 lb weights I don't know how some of you can do this routine with 10 lb weights, especially those squat and delt raises..whew!! The first time I did workout 2 I thought I was going to throw up. But I have improved in my upper body strength as the exercises in plank position were really hard for me, but now they are much easier.

Is anyone doing workout 3?

I only have 7 lbs weights so I'm using those for the moment, and since they are definitely a bit heavy for me I'm going to do 10 days of level 1 before I go on to level 2. I can already see a lot more definition in my arms- I hope I continue to get more definition and hopefully lose the fat that covers everything...

Well, I'm on day 3 (I'm not counting the couple of times I tried it last week) and I already feel my endurance getting better.

Day 5- my arms are so weak! Especially the left one. It just isn't fair! I can't lift them all the way in the anterior delt raises and it just hurts so much. I've also noticed my shoulders clicking non-stop when I do the press-ups - I'm not really sure what's going on but it is a little unsettling.

Day 6

I guess I'm the only one still doing this, but I am going to continue posting in this thread- to make myself accountable and also to have a record.

How'd it go?

I just finished day 14 and I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I found this workout. I was at a plateau for awhile but it helped me break the plateau and has really helped me tone my upper body.

I have been working out for 3 years now and have never been fitter in my life. I have done Jillians workout and I loved it cause I think she has such a hot bod. But found it kinda hard to do it at home. I guess I get bored. So instead I stick to workouts from trainerpack.com cause I can take them to the gym on my ipod and still be around people and feel normal
I am also pumped to start spinning too.

I have this DVD now but haven't tried it yet. I've read through the whole thread and ya'll have gotten me excited to try it. But I'm scared of Jillian!!

I'm waiting a few days before starting because I really want to get my eating in order too and I need to psych myself up for that.

I love that the workouts are only 20 min. but yet sound like they will kick your butt.

I just did this video (level 1) for the 1st time tonight. It was tough and I only used 5 lb. weights. Boy am I outta shape! I'm not new to exercising but I haven't been very consistent about it for a long time.

I need to take my measurements tonight so I can see what kind of progress I'm making if the scale doesn't move.

Thanks Mel. I did it again last night and it was still tough. I'm taking tonight off though since it's NYE and plus I think my arms need a break. They are sore sore but I can certainly tell I did something. LOL

I used my heartrate moniter last night and it said I burned 227 calories and my heartrate was up there. For 20 min. I'm happy with that.

thats interesting Jiggles, thanks for posting that,i was wondering how many calories you could burn.I really smoke on level 1 now so i am hoping im burning close to 300 calories, then i tread for another 500 calories and do some ab workouts.....looks good.

Im working out tomorrow
