~*~*~*~T-tappers - MARCHing into Spring, SATI style!
Tapp is a series of copyrighted, sequential movements designed to put the body in proper functional alignment. Its special sequence of comprehensive, compound muscle movement helps establish better alignment as well as increased strength and flexibility of the spine, better neuro-kinetic flow, lymphatic function, and increased metabolic rate. Its physical therapy approach to fitness makes it safe for those with shoulder, hip, knee, neck, and back concerns. Yet, it delivers a challenging workout for all fitness levels!
T-Tapp's preventative wellness workouts deliver results inside and out. Instead of just focusing on burning calories and fat to lose weight, T-Tapp concentrates on helping the body rebuild digestion, assimilation, elimination, in addition to improving lymphatic function and neuro-kinetic flow. Increased energy, mental clarity and overall health immediately improve as your body tightens and tones. Faster inch loss occurs because muscles develop like girdles so they can uplift and cinch in target areas of concern. That's because T-Tapp develops long, lean muscle fibers with strength and flexibility for greater muscle density instead of muscle bulk. In fact, T-Tapp can redesign bulky muscles into lean, dense tissue! Best of all, this type of muscle development helps support the spine and joints in a rehabilitative way. Many injuries occur due to muscle imbalance, but with T-Tapp muscles are always built with strength and flexibility. It just happens that this type of muscle development also increases metabolic processing for higher burning of calories and fat even when not working out! Last of all, T-Tapp is a left-right brain, mind-body workout. Most have heard the phrase "if you don't use it, you lose it" but with T-Tapp it's never too late to rebuild fitness and health. Come discover "Yes You Can" with T-Tapp and FEEL the difference while you try some sample movements for free. More Than A Workout! T-Tapp... Is done without weights, equipment, or jumping! Is very rehabilitative, especially for the lower back and knees. The movements look so simple, but they provide a workout like no other. Works all layers of the muscle at both attachments to develop muscle density instead of muscle bulk. Is more than a mind/body workout! T-Tapp is a left/right brain, mind/body workout. Is where less becomes MORE! Instead of working long and hard, discover how quality of movement can be more important than quantity!

Thanks for the new thread Cheryl!!
Hey everyone ![]() Last night I did BWO+ again and took my time. My arms and thighs are feelin' it today. Are any of you going to take part in the 60 day challenge? It sounds like fun! It would be great if we all did it together ![]() ![]() Allie: I followed low-carb yesterday too. I actually do the M/E challenge which is also on this forum. I can usually do strict M/E for about a week and then have to add in little "treats", LC of course! Bev: Your sleepover sounds like fun. I would love to do that. Myself and about 4 girlfriends are supposed to go to Myrtle Beach in April for a long weekend. I doubt we'll get much rest though! Debby: I may start doing the treadmill in between t-tapp. I'm not sure because Teresa says t-tapp is all you need. I'm afraid 45 minutes on the treadmill might not be as good as 20 minutes of t-tapp!!! Everyone have a great day!

Michelle,
Another question. I've been working on Diva Derriere the last week. I've done it maybe 4 times. I am doing something wrong. I get no burn in my cheeks at all. The burn is upper thighs. I am holding right hip in place and working hard on pulling tummy in. In fact, I am breathing out when lifting leg. I'm pretty sure I've got the angles all right. Help!! I really want to tone up the derriere. THank you, Bev |

Hi Bev, if your set up is correct you will feel it in your gluteus medius muscles. This is from one of my T-Tapp YOU emails:
SEQUENCE A-24 slow smooth leg lifts in perfect alignment (Laying on left side to start for flow) • Hip to knee, knee to ankle and heel to toe should all be at right angles. • Right shoulder to hip should be in a straight line. • Place right hand behind right hip and "push" forward to keep right hip joint in correct position. Keep lower back pressed flat, butt tucked and ribs lifted. • Lift right knee up as high as you can with right hip forward. Keep right foot flat at same height as right knee (Think you have a tray balancing on the knee to ankle area, don't let the tray tip!) • Keep knee right over left knee SEQUENCE B - 15 little leg lifts at moderate speed - 4 count each • Right knee comes forward towards chest (keep right knee/ankle at hip level). • Right knee returns to original position with right knee over left knee, maintaining hip level height • Little leg lift with right knee directly over left knee (not as high as seq. A), but keep right hip forward and right foot flat. SEQUENCE C - 15 full leg extensions at moderate speed - 2 counts each • Bring right knee to chest (keep right knee at hip level) • Fully extend right leg keeping right hip forward and right knee/leg at hip level. Be sure to tighten the buns when right leg is straight. SEQUENCE D 15 mini leg lifts - 2 counts each • Make sure to keep right knee directly over left knee (keep pushing that right hip forward) throughout entire sequence. Biggest error in sequence D is allowing right foot to raise higher than right knee. Keep right knee directly over left knee during lifts. Form Errors • Do not release right hip back which allows right foot/toe to face upward to ceiling. • Do not allow right knee to drop closer to floor during movement, as well as allowing right foot to relax. Keep ankle/heel tight with muscles flexed to maintain flat foot position. Let me know if you have any more questions. Which newsletter did you sign up for? Mine or T-Tapp? Allie, easy does it, but can't wait to see you. ![]()

Actually, Michelle, I am signed up for yours and T-tapp. But the t-tapp one is coming out with specials (read, hoping, cheap wo's). I don't want to miss it. Maybe I should just call the office.
Do I need to tighten the buns while lifting the leg in DD? I am tightening on the leg extensions. Maybe I just need to do it some more and one day I will do it and die. I will have DH look at my set up and see if I am missing a bet somewhere.Thank you so much. Hey, Amanda. MORE is a great wo. Gracie, your long weekend sounds like a blast!! ![]() Have a great evening, Bev |

Hey y'all,
I'm behaving, I swear. 15 mins of rowing and HTF tonight. PBS and HD's at work. Trying to build up the core again. My ab wall took a beating with the surgery. Feeling stronger each day and getting the most out of BWO+. Going to the max and wow, it's a workout. Off to work on that darn project. I want to be finished..... ![]() |

Gracie, I'm joining the challenge. I did it last year too and had a great support group on the t-tapp forums (the Tappin Tinis (short for martini)), but we can certainly do it just as well here. I hope I can win again this year so I can get to Safety Harbor again. Would love to see gorgeous Mich again! (and not stick my foot in my mouth...lol)
Bev, I sure feel it when I do DD. I concentrate on keeping my leg stiff as if it were one unit and lift with my glutes. Oh, the pain! I did a 3 mile walk using SATI techniques at lunch yesterday. FLoor work at the gym today and LB BWO+ tonight. Wait, I can't firm up TOO much before the start of the contest. I wanna be flabby in that first pic! |

Hi Tappers
![]() Last night for me was BWO+ and then I did the first 10 minutes of SATI. I actually couldn't finish it, my legs were screaming! It was my upper thighs that were burning the most. Tonight I'm going to try again, BWO+ and SATI. Cheryl: The contest sounds like a great idea. I'm always looking for something to keep me motivated. Hmmmm....chocolate cake w/chocolate icing ALWAYS motivates me! hehe ![]() Allie: I'm sorry but I don't know what your studying in school, and where do you go? Good luck with your project. Sounds like you're tackling an awful lot all at once! Amanda: Bootcamp What WO's are you doing? I'm trying to get in something everyday. Bev: You'll get it right, just keep practicing!!! That's nice that your DH will help you on your form. Looking forward to hopefully some better weather. This Sunday we have another b-ball game for the tournament and then we're going to see High School Musical on Ice at the Mellon Arena. I think I'm more excited than the kids! Michelle/Allie are either of you going????? |

Amanda...I think Ins 2 is 45 mins give or take.
I'm pooped. I worked late and then did 11 mins of rowing and a my pace BWO+. PBS and HD's at work as a pick me up. Gracie-I'm finishing my degree online with Capella University. Great school. I'm a junior and working on a BS in Accounting. Now to heat up the chili I made last night and make some biscuits for the family to enjoy and then I am on my homework again. |

Allie, you are a busy lady!!
Gracie, I love the BWO+ and SATI combination. It killed my legs when I started too. Man, how can she step sooooo fast. But I love the way I can hold my form and really feel the form when I do SATI. Ok, I got my March newsletter from Teresa. It's a 25% off on whatever you order. I can get two POPs. What two should I get? I'd like to get the Liner Alignment Stretching thingy. I think I may be wasting my money on Diva Derriere. Cause I already have it on paper and it's a matter of time till I get it. Right? I was thinking of Eye of the Tiger cause I have Tempo Torso and will need it for that-you know, when I get to it about 2 years down the road.![]() Anyone have any ideas. I have one POP-Ladybug. I have Hit the Floor, the Ladybug WO, tempo torso, TWO, SATI, and MORE. Oh, and the DVD that came with the book. Got in SATI tonight. I am really starting to feel my transverse muscles. I am concentrating on pulling in the total abdomen, not just the belly button. Thanks bunches!! Be good everyone. ![]() Bev |

Yep love to see Cheryl again, wonder if she still thinks I am *big* ![]() ![]() Quote:

Michelle,
I have one POP-Ladybug. I have Hit the Floor, the Ladybug WO, tempo torso, TWO, SATI, and MORE. Oh, and the DVD that came with the book. I am not doing any floor work at this time as I have a serious mommy tummy I need to take care of. And I am not doing the tempo torso-haven't even looked at it. It may be more floor work. I do do the ladybug pop, ladybug standing, SATI, TWO and MORE. Plus the little stuff OIP, AL and DD (kind of). I only have the money to purchase two pops at this time. I loved the crack about owning and squeezing muscles. Made me laugh. Yep, that's my problem on DD-owning and not squeezing. Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it. ![]() Bev Last edited by eshlemania : 03-05-2008 at 07:13 PM. |

Michelle....I can't wait to get back to class.
I've been very consistent with BWO+ and a floor at least once a week, working up to twice. I'm intimidated by Ins 2. I'm putting it off until next week so I can get more endurance. I have tacked TTN on BWO+ when not too tired.Bev....Hmmmm. I think I would go with legwork ones like plies or balance. Getting the tweaks and form down on those would make a huge difference. I think I am going to order alfalfa and fibortox with this discount. It's a great discount. Gracie-My kids would scream if I took them to High School Musical. It would be funny to see their reactions, so no, I'll be doing homework. Cheryl-is that bathroom finished yet? Happy Tapping everyone.

Mich, I think the word was 'huge' <blushing> Girls, this woman is the epitomy of blonde bombshell. She's tall, blonde and gorgeous. She blew me away when I met her (remember, I'm only 5'2", so she is HUGE to me...lol) BUT, she is the sweetest!
I owe her a few peenches the next time I see her.I did HTF yesterday, my legs are aching and my tushie is sore. I squeezed everything for all I had. I did the crab claw move too. I really hope I'm remembering it right. Can't wait for the video of that to come out! Nope, the bathroom is far from done. The tile is (mostly) laid out. The big pieces are down, but our accent pieces that had to be special ordered aren't in yet. The countertop is getting installed on Tuesday though. We still need to paint the ceiling, relaminate the vanity, wallpaper, put the toilet back in and fix the plumbing for the tub drain. Oh yeah, have to grout the tile once the pieces are in and then put up crown and baseboard molding. I'm thinking, um, September? LOL One more day til the weekend! I see SATI in my future... You all have me itching to do it. |

Hey Allie I did hear something about a HUGE snow storm on Saturday. OMG, I can't take it anymore! Hopefully it will miss us.
Last night I did PBS and then the full SATI workout. OUCH! That is a really great workout. My legs still feel it today. I'm thinking tonight will be BWO+ and then maybe the treadmill, I'm just tryin' to keep things different everyday so I don't get bored. I took off work tomorrow so I'm happy, just needed a mental health day! Everyone have a nice day ![]() |

Last week was a write-off for me, but I did get BWO in once so far this week. Man, it kicked my butt! After missing only a week, it was so much harder. My legs are killing me. I'll try to get it in again tonight.
I am still waiting for Instructional #2 and B/R to come in the mail! I'm so anxious to try them out and ramp up my inch loss! Jenna - I'm a relative newbie too, but have been doing T-Tapp consistently for 6 weeks now (forget last week though!). I would really recommend you get all the moves down with Instructional #1 and start doing BWO consistently. I have added SATI in the past little bit. Really get the moves down and aim for consistency. Don't feel like you have to do all those workouts all the tim.e

Hello everyone!
What a great T-Tapp newsletter with discount! Teresa is the best. I am traveling at the end of the month to Seattle to help her at a big convention. Never been to Seattle, I can't wait!OK Bev, I would get Eye of the Tiger and Pretzel Twist. Stretching in Linear alignment is the first move on Lady Bug Floor work, so you can always pop that in and do it. Jenna, You have all the workouts for success. Stick with instructional 1 for a while, because it is WAY more than your brain learning the workout, it is setting you up for success with instructional 2. Tempo Lower body floor work is one of my favorites. <FYI> Ask Allie, I love the torso challenge which you can learn the movements form TLB floor. Email if I can help you further. Cheryl, Uh, ya that's right, HUGE was the word. But I knew what you meant as you strained your neck to look up Had I thought differently, I woulda left your cute arse at the airport! ![]() Gracie, snow storm? Ugh, both DD's are supposed to go to Harrisburg with my dad on Friday... Score for me, I got TappCore in the door at the kids school, AND am working with the health office to incorporate T-Tapp into the spring wellness campaign. I urge everyone here to take a copy of TappCore to your local school district, our youth are so in need of it! OK off to clean the kitchen. Hugs to all! |
