Debbie-you look awesome.

Hey y'all! The snow has turned to rain in the 'burgh and it is wet, wet, wet. I'm so grateful for tile floors. I will be thoroughly cleaning the house today. It is in dire need. Let's just call it spring cleaning time and leave it at that. I'll be doing it Bev/T-Tapp style. LOL.

I'm loving the elliptical thing. I did a glute based workout on Thursday for 30 mins.
Friday was 45 mins on the elliptical, BWO+ and OIP/HF, AL AND DD. Can you say overkill? I think I'll go with a light workout for today. I'm thinking of LB standing.

Seriously, in deference to Cheryl's words of wisdom and common sense I'm holding off on the bootcamp until after the start of the 60 day challenge. Mentally, I'm not up to the TWO just yet. I'm sure it's my body talking soem sense into my brain.

Amanda-kudos to you on your bootcamp and excellent results.

Y'all enjoy the more spring-like weather and have a great weekend.

Hey Allie, Good for you! The elliptical really does make exercising easy, hey? And with T-tapp addded in, you're sure to be hitting everything!

I'm with you on the cleaning... at least that's what I want to do, spring cleaning, but it remains to be seen, how much I will actually get done. Baby steps... hopefully more then just upkeep.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm pretty happy about it, but still dumbfounded with the scale!

I'm looking for that spring like weather... hope you're right!

Have a good one everybody!

Debby-I wouldn't exactly say easy when you go with one of the programmed workouts. Mine adjusts the incline and the resistance at intervals. The readout has these annoying little messages too. "peddle backwards'' and the worst one is "pedal faster" LIke my heartrate isn't already 2000

It is still pretty cool.

Haha... true. I used the wrong word... I meant it was easy to get yourself to do it! I find that even when I don't "feel" like exercising, I can get on & get going, no problemo! Where-as with other things, for me, its harder to "make" myself. Also, if you have sore joints, it doesn't hurt!

And Yes, the peddle backwards is "very effective"!

Hey, Debby,
You look great in those skinny jeans!! Excellent work!!

Allie, you are doing so good. And looking good too!! Michelle says so. Glad you are taking time to get used to things before BC.

Yesterday got in Ladybug BWO+. Don't think I will get anything done today. DS and friends are using the tv. So, I am planning on doing B/R tomorrow.

Be good everyone!

Loved the BC. Just wanted everyone to realize that I have only used More for it, and I am not a more to lose. I do sometimes have knee issues, but never had with T-Tapp.

Good Sunday morning to you all!

I got to do the whole "core" work-out this morning. It was so cool! Wow, can I ever feel the muscles & strength from that!

Thanks Bev... I'm looking forward to dressing up today. Its amazing the difference in your attitude... when you're your right size! LOL....

Cheryl, I'm still so grateful you helped me get started.

Be blessed everyone.

Didn't get any tapping done yesterday, except some superior t-tapp abdominal support (including tucking, tightening butt and feet on floor no big toe, pressing down ball joint, pulling in belly button and transverse muscles) during choir practice.

DS GOT ENGAGED SAT NIGHT!! They are planning on a May wedding. Then DD's in July. My, my, my. A lot of what DD and I have done will make things easier for DS and fiance. It's already been researched. However, Molly is doing all the planning. Yea!! DS is doing all the money stuff. Double yea!! They are planning an inexpensive wedding. DD will be so jealous. It's what she wanted.

Gotta run. Have a great day everyone.

Bev

Bev....WOW and congrats to DS and his lady. Your family is growing in leaps and bounds. What a blessing.

Inexpensive weddings can be so nice. DH and I had a home grown wedding and reception and it was a lot of fun and not stressful at all. Probably because I knew nothing about weddings and kept things very simple. And my DH had some very helpful girl cousins who pitched in to get the buffet together. I'm hoping my kids go that route.

I crashed this weekend....big time. I read and rested and could not bring myself to do a single workout. I did get various cleaning jobs done and I'm glad of that. DH and I seem to have a bug today so it is just as well I listened to the old body on this one. We are going to lay on the couch and watch a couple of movies.

We are also starting an eating and workout plan together. It goes so much better when it is a team effort.

Happy St. Patrick's Day for all y'all Irish out there. We had our corned beef and cabbage yesterday. It was very good.

Debby, you look FANTASTIC!!!! Wowza! I'm so glad that PTA worked out for you. I'm so happy for you!!!! I only hope to look as good as you one day!

Allie, yeah, smart not to push oneself if you aren't ready and the pressure is coming from an external source (the contest). I just look at it one workout at a time. That way I'm not overwhelmed and I don't disappoint myself.

Now if only I could get a really good handle on my eating. I did well this weekend. We had pizza last night and I stopped at 2 pieces and knew that would fill me, instead of eating what I wanted just because it tasted good. That's my biggest problem. I eat well, just too much of it (not counting the pizza). Saturday night was Rib Eye steak and salad with bleu cheese dressing. I had 2 pieces of Ciabatta bread dipped in olive oil. I should NOT have had the bread at all, still trying to do low carb, so I blew it there.

Bev, congrats on DS' engagement! Is DD mad now that he's getting married first?

DH almost got all of our tiling done in bathroom #2. Only 11 more accent pieces of tile left to go in (out of 42). It is looking great. Now we get to grout and the toilet can go back in. OH HAPPY DAY!

Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!

Happy St. Paddy's Day !!!

Well, my weekend was a total bust. Saturday I went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Pittsburgh and then to the Strip District for more "festivities"!! Can you say Green Beer?????? Our entire family gets together every year for the parade and then somewhere afterwards. Twelve of us started out at my house, including kids, and took the bus downtown. It was so much fun! Then Sunday was our Open House. Six couples came to see it, hopefully we'll get an offer. I got up around 9 am on Sunday to do some more cleaning and some finishing touches. It's really difficult to keep a house clean with two kids running around! I didn't get in any real wo's but Saturday we walked ALOT! Tonight I may start a 5 day BC if I have the energy. I couldn't sleep last night, was up til like 4 a.m. I think I'm stressed over the whole house thing.

Debby: You look tremendous! How much weight have you lost so far? I'd love to see a before t-tapp picture!

Cheryl: Soon your bathroom will be totally done - YEAH! My eating over the weekend wasn't very favorable either.

Bev: WOW! 2 weddings! BUSY, BUSY!! That sounds like so much fun! Is DS older than DD? Maybe he was feeling the pressure of his lil' sis getting married before him! Congratulations!

Allie: I was feelin' yucky yesterday too but I think mine was self-induced, remember the green beer???? LOL

Well Gracie, that was a hard assignment! I searched & searched. You see, I don't let anyone take my picture if I don't like how I look!
This was taken in August/07, on a motorcycle trip to Alaska, last year. It was just before I started T-tapp & PT. (which I'd forgot that I started both at the same time)... 17 lbs.

Thanks Cheryl, but I think you look pretty terrific already!
Happy Tuckin!

Morning all,

DS is older and DD is a little miffed that he's getting married before her. DD and SO have not been in close proximity for the last 2 yrs. Morgan graduated from college two years ago. They do the long distance thing pretty well, though they are looking forward to being in the same household. DS and SO have attended the same college for the last two years, before DS went to Illinois. When DS got home he talked to our pastor. DP () does not believe in long engagements and they are more than willing to go along with that. They spent the last 6 months in a long distance relationship that was very hard for them. They are ready to consolidate everything into one household.

It should be very interesting. This also means DS will not be living here too much longer. There is an actual end in sight. But they have to find an apartment and Molly is looking for a job in the area. Much to do in a little over a month. They are looking at the beginning of May, which will make it very difficult and just about impossible for DD to get home for the wedding-it's right before finals.

No tapping yesterday and probably not today. Too much going on. Gotta run get my youngest up for school.

Bev

Bev, if I were your DD, I'd be miffed about my bro stealing my thunder and going first. Sibling rivalry, don'tchaknow!

Debby, wow, what a change! You've done great!

Amanda, I know that PMS monster, well. Too well. You'll get through it.

Gracie, sounds like a totally fun weekend! Any bites on the house? The condo next to ours is up for sale. We're thinking of buying it as an investment property to rent and when the time comes, maybe have DD (who is 'special needs') live there with an aide. I'm not sure we can do this, but we're looking into it. Good selling vibes to you! I totally understand about trying to keep the house clean with two kids in the house!

I'm proud of me... I got through Ladybug Standing last night, PLUS 25 minutes of t-tapp floor work at the gym at lunch. That's my first FULL workout since November when I fell off the wagon and got run over by it. My stamina/strength are finally returning. WOOT!

My measurements are way up though. I'm a fine candidate for the contest. Plenty to lose! LOL

Good morning! I was so tired last night that when I got home from work I went right to bed! I'm still feeling tired today, I think it's PMS. I could lay my head down right now and go to sleep. TOM is due on Saturday so I know he's the culprit

I got my e-mail for the contest, I'm so excited! I don't even care if I win, I just think it will be great motivation.

Cheryl: Buying the condo next to you sounds like a great investment. Right now is the best time to buy while the market is down. My DH and I own 3 homes, 2 of which are investment properties that we bought through foreclosures. I say go for it!

Bev: Sounds like you're going to be extra busy the next few months! Hopefully your DD will get over her big brother's engagement. Good luck

Debby: You looked great in your before picture too! And even better in the new photos! The pic with you on the motorcycle is beautiful.....awesome scenery! I'd love to visit Alaska someday.

Allie, Michelle, Amanda, Denise and everyone lurking!

Bev this certainly is your "weddings year"!! Wow! When it rains it pours! Its a fun time to go through, enjoy every minute!

Cheryl you must really have a good eye. I was looking at that picture, thinking... hmmm... that's why hardly anybody's noticed my weight loss this time! LOL... I can see it too, but you know, I felt a LOT fatter then I look. Guess that's why THAT picture survived my delete button!

Gracie, thanks, you're so sweet. Yes, it is gorgeous in Alaska. That picture is Salmon Glacier (its HUGE) outside of Hyder, Alaska, which is only about 3.5 hr. drive from our town in BC. Its in that drop-down part of Alaska. I love going there on the motorcycle, its so breath-taking, the whole ride & nice windy roads! (plus a really quaint town to stay in). I can't wait for the snow to melt, so we can start going for rides again!

Amanda... hope today goes better for you!

I've found that the shoulder rolls on core are very good for me & the arms. They are being used all through the day for straightening up my posture! Also, it has helped me TONS to hold my belly-button into my spine!

Have a tappin day!

Nice Amanda. It's such a treat when the DH notices the results.

We've got some bug going around the house. I craxhed this weekend and got hit with it on Sun/Mon. DH is down and out yesterday and today and DD started in this morning. Hope it skips the boys 'cause they can be such babies. LOL.

Hoping to workout after Kidzlife for a bit. Will have class with Michelle tomorrow and am feeling much better so that should be okay.

Bev, good luck with all the activities. you are going to be one busy momma.

Cheryl and Gracie-this contest will help me get going too. Winning is nothing compared to just getting everything back where it was.

Great Amanda! My butt is lifting and everything is getting tighter. Darn shifting. The magazine should be shipping today...

I'm doing a funky BC this week, 4, maybe 5 days. I did LB Standing on Monday, LB Floor last night, either B/R or LB Standing again tonight, then another floor workout or BWO/SATI on Thursday. Friday is my day off, so I'm not sure what I'll do (if I have the energy)

Gracie, I hear ya on the 'tireds'. I sleep like the dead now that I am back drinking the Noni juice, but I'm still tired. I think it has to do with SAD too. Cmon Spring!

Debby, you do look fab and I bet getting on and off the bike is a bit easier too. I know when I 'feel' that roll in the middle, my legs don't wanna lift cause they have to lift the 'chub' too! LOL

I woke up with strep throat. today. I feel yucky. And I finished my grocery shopping today.
