Good for you, Amanda. Getting a bootcamp done always feels great!! Well, they recommend going every other day after the bootcamp with full workouts. You can fit in BWO+ on off days or busy days. But you have MORE also, so you can mix it up.

Allie, Allie, I can't tell you how sad it made me to tell you about the snow.
Well, no, not exactly. I am sorry you guys have to deal with it, but I am so glad that we don't. I'll be thinking of you. Let's see that's Allie, Gracie and Michelle also? Hang in there guys. I'm with you-surely spring will come soon. Please!!

Oh, I did DD squeezing what I owned-trying anyway. It was much better. I got actual burn where I was supposed to. I think it will take a little time till I can squeeze like I should.

Have a great evening!!

Bev

Hey y'all,

Well, I ended up taking a couple of days off. Ended up working late on Friday and when I got home, I started in on schoolwork and then had movie night and margheritas with DH.

Today I stayed home in the morning because of the ice, it was everywhere and DH said no driving. We did the shopping around 1 and had lunch together. We headed home just as the snow was starting to crank. Have worked on project and did 20 mins of rowing and 20 miins on the treadmill SATI style. Needed to change things up today.

Now I'm going to do accounting homework and start on discussion replies. Joy. Tomorrow I will start typing up my project. I've got an outline and a rough draft started. I think it is going pretty well.

I'm taking off Thursday and Friday to finish up both classes and do a good old fashioned 4 day bootcamp. I guess I better get going with Ins 2. LOL. Since I'll be home, I can do BWO+ and Ins 2 back to back instead of B/R.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Cheers!

Off days, yesterday and today. I will jump back into things tomorrrow.

How are things going, ALLIE? I think that Ohio probably got more snow than you guys. Sounds like you are getting a big start on your project.

I think what I have been thinking was hot flashes is t-tapp. I'm sitting in the car, tucking and tightening, and all of a sudden I am warm. I was doing it in church this morning and, man, it got warm quick. When I relax awhile, it goes away. When I do the tucking thing, shoulder blades together, etc, I get warm again. One day during choir practice, the church was really cold. I spent the entire time, tucking and tightening, etc, and I wasn't near as cold. T-tapp brings the heat!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!

Hey Bev, I was really disappointed with the amount of snow we got. For all the hassle, we should have at least made out with 6". Instead we got icky ice.

LOL. I just finished my workout. 22 mins of rowing in 2 phases. 16 mins and then another 6 after BWO+ and 7 mins on the treadmill. I got off the treadmill and switched to rowing because I could feel that stress I get in my right lower leg that I get from the treadmill. I can't wait to get the elliptical machine. I think we will have it this week.

I keep trying to find ways to avoid schoolwork. I swear I could have been done with a lot more right now if 1. I felt like doing it and 2. I had my concentration and focus back. Oy!

Bev, Our office has been chillier to me this year. To combat it, I go to the ladies room and do PBS or hoe downs or plies. Works like a charm.

Rain, rain and more rain, all day Saturday. We are water logged. I'm so glad it wasn't snow/ice. I feel for you gals in the Pa/Ohio/Indiana area.

Amanda, great job on the BC. Just do every other day from now on (if that, cause you do dance too). I'm sure you are still in phenomenal shape with all that you do.

See, Mich *is* a wonderful person. She didn't leave me at the airport. What a gal! Lucky duck going to work with T in Seattle! /jealous

Allie, you truly are crazy woman! You're gonna do a BC? Mich, can you talk to her, please?

Bev, LOL@hot flashes= t-tapp. I hear ya. I sweat just thinking about doing PBS now... hee hee

So when I did my wo today, I got done and thought, did it do any good today. Then I went downstairs and yeah, I could feel it. Cheryl, tell me about your shoes. The ones that are like being barefoot. Do you like them? I am motiviated to get past the point that I always stop at. I am breaking through!

Hey, Amanda!! Doing great. Don't forget to take one day off a week. I'm not sure about doing another BC in 3 weeks. They usually tell you wait 6 weeks. Someone else will have to chime in here.

I got in the Ladybug Standing, LB POP, and DD this afternoon. It kind of wiped me out.

DS is offically moved back in this past weekend. He started his new job this morning. His car wouldn't go into it's gears. So, he's driving mine now. Sigh. Well, he and GF are talking marriage. Probably this fall. Every time he asked for control of a certain area in the house, I chimed out, "If you want that, rent goes up $5 a week." He asked DH for his outdoor shed again. We told him, for the shed, it's $600 a month. We'll see how things go.

Cheryl, I hope that you don't get too much rain. Do you have flooding? We have had about 3 or 4 different times it has flooded this winter. I have NEVER seen it like this-ever.

Have a great day everyone.

Amanda, that sounds like a great plan and YES! you will break through your plateau. I self-sabotage like that too. The shoes I use to push it to the max are my Nike Frees v2. Man, they really test your balance!

I did LB Floor yesterday and threw in the crab claw move. Man, my inner thighs are screaming. My NK awareness of that muscle must be kicking in. My BIGGEST challenge now (Mich, are you listening? ) is preventing the little basketball belly when doing OIP/HF. I feel like my belly pushes out rather than sucking in on that move. Any suggestions?

Bev, good luck with DS moving home. It's so tough for them to come home and have house rules again.

Yep, we're soggy here. We have had 14.8" of rain so far this year. Normal amount is 8" so we don't need any more.

Hey everyone

I've been super busy at home and work these last few days. Saturday night we got about 8" of snow and we went snow tubing. It was a BLAST! While we were tubing it was cold, windy, and snowing but we were really bundled up! I was actually sore on Sunday

My WO's were on Thursday BWO+ and then Sunday PBS and 40 minutes on the treadmill SATI style. Tonight will be BWO+ and then either treadmill or SATI dvd. I can tell that I'm losing inches slowly but I'll take it. My scale goes up and down.....frustrating I'd like to lose one size before April 23rd because I'm supposed to go on a girls extended weekend to Myrtle Beach. I may start a BC, inspired by Amanda! They always kick my butt.

Everyone have a great day

Hi!
Well, I'm happy, I got my "T-tapp core" DVD yesterday. So this morning I watched the introduction & a few instructionals while doing my elliptical, and was able to do the whole thing, in t-tapp stance, along with some of the t-tapp arm exercises... EEOOW!! My arms are still sore! I could really feel all the muscles getting worked & heart rate was up there!

Tried on my "goal" jeans... 30" & they are just a wee bit snug...

Keep it up! It works!

Hey y'all,

Had Kidzlife for the first time since surgery. I had a good time.

Did PBS and HDs at work. Just did 22 mins of a glute workout on the elliptical. It is pretty awesome.

I also finished my project draft and will get my friend to proofread it for me. DS is reading it now. LOL.

I'm going to bed.

Deb, way to go on the skinny jeans! I bet you look awesome!

Amanda, see how fast you got back to your November size. That was quick! Great work!

Gracie, I was wondering where you were!

I did LB Standing last night and got through Balance. Go me!

Finally got my videos in the mail!
I got Instructional #2, B/R and TappCore! Soooo excited to try them out!

I've also been working out at the gym at my work (I know I am a lucky duck). I've been trying to mix in T-Tapp stance when I'm on the treadmill. It's tough to remember to do without Teresa's reminders!

Hi y'all!

Last night I wasn't able to get any wo's in but I got alot of exercise! Our house is up for sale and our agent came over and gave us advice on "staging" the house. We moved furniture, cleared out closets, took pictures down, and cleaned for almost 6 hours I was thoroughly EXHAUSTED when I plopped into bed at midnight! The house looks totally different, hardly any decorations, nothing on the walls, and we took out a lot of furniture. We also ordered a queen size bed to replace our king in our bedroom. She said it would make the room look bigger. Plus, if it doesn't work my DS needs a new bed so we'll just give it to him. Tonight DS has a b-ball game, third round of tournament!! If they win he'll play Saturday for the championship! The team they'll have to play is VERY good though. Plus, they'll have to beat them twice because it's double elimination and they haven't lost yet and we have one loss. I know, confusing! Anyhoo, everyone have a great evening....I going to try to get PBS and some treadmill in later tonight.

Gracie,
Sounds like you got a lot done. Very good reason to be tired!! Hope you get your house sold soon. It's surprising that when you are going to sell your house, you do things that you wish you had done ages ago.

Debby,
Yea!! Loving those skinny jeans. Way to go!!!

Amanda,
You are doing great. Keep it up.

Allie,
You are one busy person. I can't believe how much you get done. And you cook too!!

I got in SATI today. If I do SATI, which is an off day workout, how many things can I add-DD, Ladybug POP, etc-and still do an off day workout? Today I added Ladybug POP and DD. I am still not burning like I should on DD. My left side feels it more than the right side.

Have a great evening,
Bev

Oh Gracie, I'm exhausted just reading about all that work! hehee... hope it is worth it. I wouldn't trade my king for a queen... but I guess its just a temporary measure, huh?

Sounds like everybody's on track!

Today was my high resistance day, so I worked through some more of the "core instructionals." Amazing how much you can feel it!

Thanks for your comments on the jeans. I am looking forward to wearing them. It is encouraging, when your weight stalls, to see that things actually are continuing to happen, despite the scale!

Have a good evening,

Do you know that I can actually do this standing up? It was a bad habit, but being conscious of it helps. When you do OIP CAN you pull the bellybutton back to the spine and hold it there? That is the first step, being aware of the Transverse abs is key, when you set up for OIP and press in and roll everything over *cough* the muscle you feel under your finger tips is the TA and THIS is the muscle you want to tighten and release. Also lift the ribs on this move too, it helps to eliminate the belly bulge and activate all ab muscles (But again watch shoulder to ear placement)

Allie looks amazing! What a difference a *small* procedure can make I tried to take it easy on her...I let Allie cut down reps on PT. Thank me later ...

Anyone near Seattle? Teresa will be there at the end of the month. I will be traveling with her. Long day of flying though, and then a red eye home. I will keep you all posted if she comes out with anything new.

Hey y'all,

Michelle....I'm still standing today. It was great to get back to class. Michelle was flying through the moves and you will need her to post some tweaks for the balance sequence....talk about feeling the burn in the move.

When are you going to be in Seattle and where is the workshop? My BF from high school lives out there and has back problems from her early nursing days. I've been trying to get her to check out T-Tapp for a while now. This may be a good opportunity to get her going....

Mt. Ranier is awesome if the weather permits a glimpse of it. You will be amazed by the beauty of the area.

Back to class. We did the torso challenge and it was a challenge. I had to seriously cut down on the reps for the superman move. Oy!

On to finishing up my class.....

Thanks Mich! Um, if you're on your back, how can you screw up shoulder-ear placement? I have trouble really rolling under to get the belly-button to spine and holding it. It's my weakest muscle, but I'm working on it. Is it ok during moves like OIP/HF and AL to put your hands under your butt to lift it, instead of a towel? I feel I have more control if I use my hands.

Allie, you are amazing. that.is.all

Deb, we want pictures of those skinny jeans!

Amanda, one BC and yer back in shape? THAT, my dear, is the power of t-tapp. I'm sure you weren't a total slug while you weren't tapping, so I bet you didn't lose much to begin with.

Gracie, 6 hours? Sounds like one of those design-to-sell shows on HGTV. BIG sacrifices must be made to sell a house. Minimize, minimize, minimize. I'm trying to do that to my house to make it less cluttered and more stylish, but it's tough when you want your family pictures and kid projects from school proudly displayed too.

Bev, any more on your wedding planning? Do you have YOUR dress picked out?

I did my Ladybug floor work yesterday and it is so cool to actually feel the muscles working and feel in control of their contractions. Strength is an amazing thing with t-tapp. Doing hoe downs, I actually feel my abs now when I bring up my leg. I never used to be able to use my abs to lift my leg. Who knew that you could control your leg with your stomach? When I first started, if I wanted to lift my leg, I lifted my leg using the leg muscles. Never gave a second thought to my belly.
